Now Here Is a Packeg OnyxTREE_BAMBOO.
U do not need any Plugins or anything… It has ots own interface. Use BAMBOO 6.exe and open parameters from bamboo library folders (create ur own item by simple parameters)and export them as .3ds or .obj
manual and textures are included…..(only 13.60MB)….. If U people likes it then I’ll Upload More libraries…..

  16. Knutson says:

    Hi

I have the Onyx Storm plugin installed in 3ds2009 and have Onyx Garden Suite installed but have some problems getting the 2 things to play together.

In 3ds when I place a tree and select tree from the rollout – then I can open these filetypes: *.bro, *.con, *.pal, *.tr5, *.tre and in the Garden Suite I can save as: *.3ds, *.c4d, *.dfx, *.fact, *.lwo, *.obj.

In the suite in the communication panel all buttons are inactive in all of the suites programs – the manual says: “Note that Communication Panel is active when OnyxTREE BAMBOO modeler is linked to OnyxTREE STORM plugin for El Universe” (this is for the Bamboo program) – so how to link the plugin? – If its not possible there is no need for the plugin or what?

I wish that there was a 3ds2009 version of Speedtree – I miss that way you could place and change trees on the fly – even though it looks like Garden Suite got more options than SpeedtreeCAD Lite.

    Thanks in advance,
    Knut

how can i add textures to these trees ?

    *sigh*
(i wish that they do speed tree on 3ds max 2008)

  18. SpongeBob says:

    Great plugin thanks.
I almost gave up on this one because I couldn’t get it to work. But finally it worked. The solution is to make sure you copy the dlo to the “3ds Max 2009\plugins” directory not “3ds Max 2009\stdplugs” as I was incorrectly doing (I should have read the instructions more carefully). Funny thing is, if you install it to the stdplugs dir the plugin still gets loaded but the keygenerated “per” file is ineffective. Also the library is a must, thanks oyie.

  19. Nick says:

oyie, this link for the the plug-in plus library has been deleted can you or any other re upload it please. I need it seriously.
