The reason x-force was able to release the linux version is because the linux version is still using spm for licensing. it will not be changed to the ADLM until the next release. That was the biggest issue that AD wanted to get working in this release and the most important thing that we were testing on the beta.

There was a release by xforce for softimage 7.5 linux with crack. You’l know where to find it if you want it. There is no release for the windows version yet. Try waiting a week or so. Its not like team xforce to release just the linux version.

Error 103 – Corrupt license file

Message:
The license file you are trying to install is corrupt or improperly formatted. To automatically install the latest license database for this server, choose Get License > Download and install licenses from the Web.

If you downloaded your license file from the Softimage Customer Portal or received it in an e-mail, you may have inadvertently added or removed characters, or saved the file in an improper format. If this is the case, re-save the file to disk and install your license from the newly saved license file.

Symptoms:
When you are manually installing license keys you may get the above message, if the license key file becomes unreadable at some point. This can happen if the contents of a key file gets truncated, or invalid characters are mistakenly added or removed from the file. This causes problems with the encryption and results in the license manager not being able to read the file.

In most cases, this is caused by an incomplete selection when you copy and paste your license keys and save it to a file. Occasionally certain e-mail clients will strip out characters or alter the formatting in a way that may also render the file i

I need some help. I’ve down loaded xsi 7 from this site and the crack from this site. I installed the program on XP successfully. I then unrared the spm-key file and replaced the existing one in spm folder. Inside license manager I generated a file and renamed it with Key extension (by the way, why doesn’t program search for key file?). Anyway, I then ran license manager and installed the cracked license. Started the program but within a few minutes it hangs. Any suggestions that might help I would greatly appreciate it.

It works in Vista. Much of the crashing can be attributed to video drivers. Check to make sure you have the latest video driver and that your video card is not some old piece of stuff from 2 years ago.

Yeeep Mumbo, that´s right, the F. Vista is the cause.
I get it, You must rum the software as Administrator, it´s rum “perfectly”, well, nothing rum perfectly on vista, but it rum.

The next pass is disable all vista Aero, because it´s causing problem when I try to select something… Thats it… now work on vista 64… tanks

The only features that might preventing cracks from working is UAC….You can disable it and also you can ensure that you run cracks as an administrator via right clicking on them and choosing RUN AS AD…
some crack (also programs) that work under Dos need to run in that mode to work properly and Vista doesn’t provide the UAC’s for them to automatically appear…so you need to manually run such programs in AD mode manually!

correct me if I’m wrong but doesn’t vista have built in protocols to prevent the use of ‘cracks’ and stuff. Probably one of the many reasons why it failed to sell.

YYYYYEEEES!
1.First stop the server (if its running)
2.download this http://rapidshare.com/files/1384705 69/spm_keygen-win64v.rar.html thanks to NoiseMaker.
3.copy the extracted file to c:\spm
4. edit “spm-config” file…change the dongle port to COM1 if its necessary.
5.do the rest as:
1./ Install XSI selecting -install licenses at a later time

2./ Unrar spm_keygen-win64v.rar to c:spm directory (overwrite)

3./ Run licmgr.exe and selet manage licenses. generate a request code and save it as
a file. Rename this file with a .keys extension.

4./ Now select install keys and select the file you just saved. Go back to the main licmgr
screen and start server

5./ That’s it. Enjoy it

I get the same error as mumbo, the 32 bit version works a treat on Xp system, the vista 64 bit does not want to play, Ive tried all permiatations in this post to get to the same result, any Ideas ?

I did all step in Vista x64 but when I want to load (install) my renamed .keys file the lic manager show me an error : “SPM KeyDataBase utility has stopped working” !!

so nothing installed……..

If your server is running. The License Manager should look like this.

With the ‘Server Status:’ “staying” in green.
If this is the case then there is nothing wrong with your with your server.
Maybe something to do with a firewall blocking the server. If you have a firewall software make sure that you did not block the spm-server.
Also, try the Query usage button and see if its working right.
Otherwise, The only advice I can give is to unistall and re-install the server and the XSI. And carefully read everything before clicking.

Sorry for the language. But i really get irritated by people that should not even use a computer, some of these comments are so lame that my head almost exploded.

Here are some facts:
1) XSI 7 is an official release.
2) XSI 7 Adv. is not a 30 day trial.
3) Download the files directly from Softimage http://www.softimage.com/downloads/XSI_Advanced/default.aspx

4) Do NOT use the 30 day trial.
5) Do NOT use or install the NOPE crack.
5) If you have any previous versions installed delete/uninstall them. This includes license server installation.
6) Delete the c:\spm folder.
7) Install the proper license program it is located here:
http://www.softimage.com/downloads/XSI_Advanced/default.aspx Do NOT change any settings on the log file!!! That was for the old license server this one does not need any changes. READ the INSTRUCTIONS!!!
9) The icon does not have an xforce icon because it is not a keygen. It is a license key crack, they only modified that component. You can even check the changes done by using something like IDa pro decompiler, and do a diff. The resource files did not change and there is no reason for it to be changed unless you want to wave a flag to anyone saying, look here i am using a cracked license from xforce :rool:
10) Don’t forget to READ the INSTRUCTIONS.

11) If you can’t make it work, then you are probably to dumb to be using a computer or your computer sucks (has an Intel integrated chip). put it in a box return it, and use the money to buy some color crayons. Trust me you will be happier.
