Well, i don’t manage to have this working in OSX Leopard.
The PCW closes once the right license is installed, and then maya doesn’t open…do you have any glues on that?

Please, I cant get the keygen to work! im using that damn windows vista 32 and after I go through every step of the crack, it still dosent work. I went to Install license file and I go to the path of flexlm and it aceppts it at first… But then, after everything is done the same window appear again saying “Maya 2009 could not be started becouse there are no appropriate licenses installed on this computer, Please request and install your license using the options below”. And then It starts over again… My aw.dat file is like this
FEATURE MayaUnltd sgiawd 2009.000 permanent uncounted xxxxxxxxxxxx \
HOSTID=xxffxx64xxxx (here there are some numbers like this one in the host id, that appeared after 2 trying to install that same license)

For those trying to install Maya 2009 for Linux.
The Awcommon and Awcommon-server are the wrong ones, not for 64, but for 32. bits Linux.
So, if someone have the 64 bit linux ones pls post it here

For those who also have Maya 2008 for linux 64, just install the awcommon and awcommon-server for Maya 2008. It will work with Maya 2009

I tried the 32bits and 64bits windows versions, and both have a serious problem working with render layers. Either this is a beta version, or Autodesk finally messed things up with Maya. I had to uninstall it and go back to my 2008 version. Shame.
version 2009 64 bit does not exist yet for Mac, and the new features included in 2009 arent good enough. I´ll stay with 2008.
