Finally Crack it..

important note.. (Windows 7)

- Follow Instruction in crack
- For Windows 7, In crack folder, just double-click the “City.Engine.2008.3_kg.jar” file to run the keygen
- Press ‘Patch’ find ‘C:\Program Files\Procedural\CityEngine\plugins\’ folder
- In Command Prompt type “getmac” for your MAC ID
- Before clicking ‘Generate’ make sure ur MAC ID is without the “-”
example, if ur MAC ID is ’6C-F0-49-76-3C-90′ then type ’6CF049763C90′
- Put ur license anywhere, doesnt matter
6. Run Cityengine, re-install licence, choose the licence created..

Is crack for 2008 works ok with 2009? Because i haven’t success with the license file from 2008 on 2009

- ok, did u copy the .jar-file into the /bin-fodler? u should.

- and don t start the java.exe immideatly, but right click the file, tab “compatibility”, run as admin

- prompt “C:\Program Files\Procedural\CityEngine\jre\bin\java.exe -jar City.Engine.2008.3_kg.jar”

I’m really sorry but i don’t get it. If I run java.exe as Administrator, a little window pops up and closes immediatly. And if i type in “java.exe -jar City.Engine.2008.3_kg.jar” in a command prompt it says it doesn’t know the command.
I know I might ask for a little much here. But could you ( Or anybody who managed it ) please, please make a tutorial on how to do it. You could just make some screenshots and upload dem here. That would make everything so much easier.
That would be really really nice of you.

after several mistakes and headache i found the solution:

1. Install City Engine 32 or 64 bits (you can’t install the 32 bits version under Win64).

2. Run the programm and pick your host id for the license.

NEW: RIGHT-CLICK ON JAVA.EXE IN THE CITYENGINEDIRECTORY AND PRESS “START AS ADMINISTRATOR” (BECAUSE U CAN T SET A JAVA-FILE TO BE STARTED AS ADMIN) – THAT HELPS!!!

3. Run the keygen by typing “java.exe -jar City.Engine.2008.3_kg.jar” in a command prompt.

Java need to be in your path otherwise enter the full path to java.exe.

If you don’t have Java you can copy the keygen in:
C:\Program Files\Procedural\CityEngine\jre\bin\

And run it from here (still from the command prompt).

4. Make sure you select the correct architecture (X86 for 32bits and X64 for 64bits),

press “Patch” and browse to City Engine’s prlugins dir:

C:\Program Files\Procedural\CityEngine\plugins\

5. After patching enter your host id and generate the license.

6. Run the application, select again the same host id and install the license.

7. Enjoy it!

Please can someone help the people who dont do it right????
We need help!!!
This is what i did.
1. I installed city engine.
2. Then i start city engine and i have to choose my MAC adress.
I looked what my MAC adress is and chose it.
3. Then it says License Error and blabla, I just klicked on okay.
4. Then a window pops up and i can only choose “RE-Install a license certificate”
So I click on Next.
5. Then I need to browse to the Directory where I put my License.
Then I go into the Crack folder and run City.Engine.2008.3_kg.jat.
6. Then the X-force window pops up.
7. I select x64 and type my MAC adress in.
8. I don’t know what to type in as Issuer. So I didnt type anything in there.
9. Then I klicked on Patch and went to the Plugins folder, but then it says, wrong directory.
I really don’t know what to do, can anybody who managed this write a good Tutorial in here please.

there is no keygen for 2009.2. Maybe the stuff for 2008.3 (the version they uploaded here) will work, but nobody knows, because we don’t have a copy of 2009.2 or newer to try it. But if you have 2009.2, please upload it and we will see!

I don’t understand your post completly. So you found 2009.3 some where? (jar folder service? What does this mean? you looked at some java-scripts, they have on there server?) If you have it, can you upload it please? Or explain how to get it? Thx!

works well under Win7 64bits. Just remember to:

0. Re-read every thing posted before to see what you would have missed
1. run the keygen as admin
2. try and save the license file anywhere as it does not matter so much where it is saved

I figured out how to fix that annoying “Wrong directory” problem and the license issue. In the KG, when you hit Patch and navigate to:
C:\Program Files\Procedural\CityEngine\plugins\
MAKE SURE THAT THE DROPDOWN BOX SAYS “All Files” and NOT “Folders”! Do the same for the license.

I know this confused me, so maybe I can help, as I just got it to work. What achillies said is 100% how you do it, minus one little thing. When you place the Keygen into the bin file, you do NOT have to open this in any command prompt or anything like that. Just double click it. It’ll pop up, you then do everything else he said.
So the instructions should look like this, as written by achillies:

1. forget the xforce instructions completely they are confusing!

2. find your MAC ID (open a dos window) GO TO START THEN RUN TYPE CMD THEN HIT OK , type ipconfig/all, under Ethernet adapter,
get the first Physical address which is something like XX-XX-XX-XX-XX-XX). You don’t want the hyphens later.

3. install the program

4. Run the keygen by typing “java.exe -jar City.Engine.2008.3_kg.jar” in a command prompt.
Java need to be in your path otherwise enter the full path to java.exe.

If you don’t have Java you can copy the keygen in:
C:\Program Files\Procedural\CityEngine\jre\bin\
And run it from here. (JUST DOUBLE CLICK IT!!!)

5. enter your MAC ID in the xforce window WITHOUT THE HYPHENS OR SPACE. Do not type in the space above that where it says xforce etc.

6. press “Patch” and browse to City Engine’s plugins dir:

C:\Program Files\Procedural\CityEngine\plugins\

7. press generate license and save it somewhere doesnt matter where, it’s a .lic file.
If you get an error like could not generate license file either change folder or
have cityengine running or not, this makes a difference but since I installed the program this morning I do not remember well.
But in the end messing aroung I generated the file so dont give up.

8. run the program now and it will obviously give you an error because of missing license, so browse to the license file just generated and it should work.

Works like a charm, actually better then I expected. Thank you very much for the upload, and thanks to everyone on here that helped me get it working.
