freerapid works meaning it will automatically download queued files, so you won’t bother with wait times. Obviously it will not allow concurrent downloads and you will still have a wait time of 15 minutes between each download. IMO, downloading something like 40 or 50GB through rapidshare (as I see often here in CGP) is insane: we really should go for torrents.

Yes. We need to go torrents. What happened to cgtorrent.com that cgpersia used to host? It now redirects here to rapidshare and dial-up modem land.

$10 a month for Rapidshare is a bargain when you don’t have to depend on others to keep the Torrent going. It’s also way faster. Torrents can also be tracked by the authorities to the end user.
I’m so glad I never have to use torrents again…it’s painfully slow and unreliable.
