Those of you who doesn´t feel like this, go to Autodesk and buy it, as simple as that.
32 bit version has a problem.Extracting for the third time (m2010w32 ) which parts are less than 5 mb gives an error that needed part six (E:\Downloads\AUTODESK_MAYA_V2010_WIN32-XFORCE\m2010w32.r06 ). m2010w32 part six is missing.Help please.I downloaded twice but there was no part 6.

I solved it uninstalling with this http://www.divxturka.net/applications/298332-autodesk-maya-2010-32bit-64bit-docs-more.html check the last program called “Your Uninstaller PRO 2008 version 6.2.1347″ it removes Maya 2010 and you can reintall it!.
Sure it’s amazing, a real bloatware company, all that u have now in your junkish 3DS was invented and programmed in excellent companies like Alias [ and Alias Wavefront - once owned by SGI ], in extent – everything Maya. Autodesk never done something by themselves, look at those excellent discreet logic products they also garbaged out …. Oh yes, they had grown AutoCad, an mediocre full featured junkCAD. This reminds me also how Adobe rubbished out once great Macromedia’s products for web authoring, like DW,FW,FL …. CS4 ??? pfff a real garbage collection of once great products, unusable for anything that 4 crashing your PC and your time …

I’m not sure if it’s a download issue but where do I go to activate it. It’s installed but I can’t find the activation file to use the Keygen on. Typical girl eh?
There is none. It uses a different system this time around. It’s about the only real change in this version. My first attempt did not work – mempatch function on keygen did not function properly. It failed to install, and then failed to uninstall. I had to use Revo Uninstaller to get rid of it (free from download.com). Trying again with another version.

i notice no one knows about that uninstall bug cause i’m having the same problems and have no idea what to do, i’ve reformatted and thats fixed the problem, but once i’ve installed it based off of what everyone has been saying, it still wont uninstall, also im not sure if anyone else has got a splash.dll file missing upon start up. i get it about 3 times and then it starts up but in the render settings, i dont have mental ray rendering option 0.o alittle nerve racking but if anyone knows or has any idea what to do it would be awesomely appreciated

look this is it, i installed on a 32 bit windows xp machine with direct x updated :
YOU MUST HAVE MS DIRECT X installed and all updates to your os get this install to work :
Take your time with install and remove any previous versions, i use ccleaner to uninstall and clean registry !! You must do this in the EXACT ORDER here :

7.Copy the request code into the keygen and press generate
8.Now copy the activation code back to the activation screen and click Next it will say thank you for activation…

The mem Patch function is not working on my Windows 7 64-bit. I’m getting a “Could not get debug privilege! Are you admin?” but I am admin, is there a windows 7 thing to allow this, or do I need a different crack?

If it weren’t for your revised instructions on how to install & register Maya I would not have been able to do so. Before coming across your comment I had installed and uninstalled about 3-4 times because I was making little mistakes so I kept on getting the “your key is not valid” message whenever I tried to enter the generated key. But after following your directions, I was able to successfully register Maya on my computer. So thanks so much for your help.
For others who need help, follow my instructions WITH Steven’s. These instructions are supposed to supplement his, to fill in the gaps.
Download Maya from the official autodesk website. They will make you register. Then install, if they make you enter a serial/product key just use all zeros. Then once you’ve finished installing, start up the program. A “would you like to activate now?” window will pop up. click activate. Then run your keygen. Then click on memory patch button. then type the request key from Maya activation window into the keygen. Then press the generate button. Then on the Maya activation window choose the “enter key now” button. click next. Then choose “paste key” and ctrl+v the generated key into the fill-in box. Then click next and you will get a thank you for registering message. Also, sometime during the process of activating, you will get a “enter serial and product key” message. In that case use as serial : 666-69696969, 667-98989898, 400-45454545 .. or anything matching this template and as product code : 657B1 (These are the keys that X-FORCE give us)
