I don’t think you have to worry about 3ds Max or Maya or Modo…you just export your objects from Mas, Modo Lightwave or Maya into the program in one of the file formats that it handles (like .obj) and then start to texture it and render it from within the program…

those who have Hypershot successfully patched (without hypershot license requesting) on MS Vista/7 like it works on YellowSnow’s system please write your configuration spec (ex. is it Vista SP1 or SP2, etc) here couse many, including me, have problems running it on Vista.

… and with demo version reinstalled on top (repair mode), all paths were fixed, libraries ok, all is working well, awesome software !!
yeah I have window vista 64, still asking me to activate or buy or trial whenever I started up, even when I out the crack in the bin folder. I really like this software, I hope someone can help us to get it to work!

I have the same problem (activation screen appears after patching and copying license file), and I followed those instructions to the letter..
I think most of the others are facing the same problem.
I’m on Vista 32 bit SP2, if it helps.
My laptop has both Ethernet and Wifi-N connections, I tried disabling just the Ethernet port and reinstalling the program, but a window appeared saying I need a card with Internet connection to activate.
So I’m not sure if this activation issue is somehow tied in with the network ports?
Finally someone has the same window i’m getting “need card with internet connection to activate”.
The thing is i’m using an old dsl modem.
Blocking or not the program to connect to the internet the result is the same… and yes i followed the instructions.

I only got this message when I disabled my ethernet port on purpose.
Once I re-enabled the Ethernet port, I got the “standard” Activation window with the Buy Now, Try Now and Activate options.
The program didn’t seem to care that I still had a working Wi-fi connection what was already on the Internet.
Hopefully some wizard out there can figure out how all this is connected to the activation window problem soon!
How is your DSL modem connected to your computer, btw?
My DSL modem is connected to an USB port.
I have ethernet on my board but is disabled. I’m guessing i will have to enable it through the bios and see if i still get the same message window.

still, the problem persists… i tried almost anything – installed it as an admin; installed it from the .msi file (as an admin); extracted the patch file, and tried to do some magic by myself… and yet – nothing.
trying to install the 32 bit hypershot on a 64 bit windows 7 (or vista) seems to be a failure. guess we’ll have to wait for the 64 bit hypershot 1.9.

NETWORK CARD ERROR
You have to check your LAN hardware…see if it’s turned off. Mine was turned off and when I turned it on…VIOLA…it worked.
are you using a 64 bit windows (7 or vista)?
anyway, mine is, and was, on. but when i turned it off, hypershot said it needs an active networking card in order to activate itself.
Win Vista Ultimate 32bit SP2, Intel Q6600 (2.4GHz), 4Gb Ram, Asus Striker Extreme MB.
Dual nVidia G8600 GT Cards.
Copied patch to main folder, ran it as User (Not Admin – ‘cos I forgot!). I don’t get any popup reminders, nags or any weirdness. Materials work fine, All parts work fine as far as I can tell.
I’ve loaded many sketchup and obj files into it and it has zero problems.
Again, it’s a fantastic piece of software – I just wish I could justify buying it.
Has anyone seen the Mac version around yet?
