I’ve had it for 4 days now. Not perfect but quite enjoyable. It’ll be cool when the full crack appears but until then, just download it and have fun.

i have the legal version, tried this to help my buddy who had problems, and it performs just like the legal version, no problems here on win7 x64!
anyways, we had to uninstall his 3.1 and clean the registry of ALL pixologic entries and then this cracked release worked

This works great on vista 32 bit. You have to click on tools/import and then cancel every time you start the app, but then it functions great for me. No problems. Thanks Amr Thabet.
Guys, keep your 3.1 until a better release comes out. This one is garbage. And most of the people who reply to this thread having positive response is probably just the uploader changing his reply name. So that it won’t hurt his rapid points!!

This is the same version that the subscribers got…nothing has been changed…it is run from the unpacked folder just like the legit version. (although I think it’s a terrible way to release software with no installer) the only difference is AmrThabet crack files that change the regular startup files and the hacked zbrush.exe to ignore demo mode.
To change it out of demo mode…on the first load screen select “import” …then “cancel” …that’s it.
Make sure you have the latest VC2008 Sp1 installed….you can find it in the Troubleshooting folder in the installation directory. If you don’t have it installed you will get error messages.
The only legit problems running this (after you have done all the above) is people running WinXp 64bit…some dependencies seem to be missing in that OS. Most people are having no problems running this…the only people who can’t are the ones that can’t follow simple instructions.

There’s a new activation code revelation file provided by DmitriiP,
After replacing same file temporarily and launch program, pressing enter activation code button you will see your activation code,
ctrl+V to copy it and quit and rename back original file, then you relaunch program,
pressing enter activation code button again, paste piror code, click ok.

freezes on xp sp3 especially at start ups. also even if you did get it to run it lacks all the tools thats already available in 3.1 like sketchbook extention subtool and transpose master decimator and ZapLink. The reason why it has no installer cause its released direct from beta and thus lots of things about it doesn’t work. Even the new ZSketch technology creates such horrible mesh that you’d have to end up retopologising the whole model so why even bother? The only thing worth prasing about this release s that you can finally export HD geometry as displacement maps and normal maps at 32 bit depth so that means you can now subdivide your model to a billion polygons.
Forget this release. Do the intermediate work in 3.1 then do the higher resolution in mudbox 2010 which has better exporting and textureing abilities.
Finally, someone which has brains here.
Absolutely the same sentiments. Everyone wants to upgrade but they haven’t really maxed out the potential of what they have. Probably just for novelty and no real use.

ZBrush 3.5R2 Installer and Activation
The first legit release of Zbrush 3.5R2 did not have an installer….it also left it up to the “client” to install the Vc2008 Sp1.
This Installer gives you the choice of installation directory as well as a Uninstall.
A nice shortcut desktop/startmenu icon is created to.
This installer will detect if the Vc2008 Sp1 is installed. If it is not installed, it will install it for you.
When you first launch Zbrush a pop-up screen will give you a choice of activation.
Choose “Enter Activation” … your activation code will then pop-up (with the activation numbers embedded) …click OK….You’re done!

first thanks for your try to crack this thingy….but I come only so far as to the activation.
When I click okay I get only the “activation failed” message. Even as when I tried it several times the activation code changes but the reaction is always the same…:(
That’s strange …I have it installed on Vista 64 and XP SP3 …and it runs fine. Try uninstalling then re-installing…

If you are unable to launch ZBrush in your system, you may need to launch the included vcredist_x86_VS2008_sp1.exe in order to install needed windows plugins.
Another problem could be Data Execution Prevention, which seems especially to occur with 64-bit processors running ZBrush. Try to turn off DEP if it is on.
To do this, go to Start/My Computer and right click and select Properties. Then go to the Advanced tab, choose the Performance section Settings button and then the Data Execution Prevention tab. Make sure “() Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select” is off, or add the ZBrush3.exe to the list. Reboot and try ZBrush again.
I think I’ll just wait for the X-FORCE Release.
I`ve download it as soon as AmrThabet has post it in a forum(4 -5 days ago or so). Works fine, all feachers works, got crash 2 times(projection master – decobrush). One`s again – press “Import “.

Thanks so much Feersum, just tested it upside and down and worked flawlessly in my system (XP SP2). I’m still considering how much of a boost the zspheres2 may be to an actual production pipeline, the meshes it generates are quite dense indeed and not the best suited for smooth modeling like the ones you do for cartoon character work, but they do seem to work very well for photo-realistic stuff, and certainly shine for rapid prototyping work. What most people are really missing is that was really, superbly improved is the standard zspheres skinning mode. Seriously, just give it a whirl and check it out, there’s even an option to enable the “classic” (read: sucky) mode for a comparison. Now zspheres are actually more useful than a PITA, love love.
BTW that Tanginamo dude’s so funny, I especially loved the part where he claimed the software would “steal password from browsers”. I don’t know why he forgot the part where it would steal our house and rape our parents lol

You can select the smooth tool. Pixologic thought it would e best to select the smooth tool while pressing down shift so you can choose from 3 different type of smoothing.
Again, just hold down shift and choose from the 3 available smooth brushes.
I see this is just for download points. Too many compromises for this stuff. Waiting for a better one. Can’t really blame those losing their cool coz this thing does not function as well as the old release.

Create an empty “vmem” folder in the ZBrush folder and one empty “TempFiles” in the “ZBrush/ZStartup” folder.”

Thanks for your September 21st post for Zbrush with installer – got it – it installed no probs and runs perfectly on xp pro 32. No crashing and works perfectly with a maya to zbrush workflow – displacement, normal maps etc.
Also my 3.1 version works no probs
The AmrThabet version is absolute crap/garbage – unstable, memory leaks, takes ages to load, and crashes all the time

I’ve tried this and 3.1 on my Vista x86 and while i was able to install the 3.1 the 3.5 won’t install at all. I get an error stating that there is a side-bu-side configuration issue… (3.1 key gens wont even work on my system either) is there anything I’m doing wrong?
I’ve got on my Win7 problem with simplebrush as well it paints only squares, anyone has solved it?
01. Install ZB 3.5r3 without plugs
02. Rename Zbrush.exe in the new ZB 3.5r3 folder to Zbrush.exe_old
03. Delete your SplashData folder in ZData/ZPlugs/
04. Go to crack.zip and copy the Zbrush.exe to the ZB 3.5r3 folder
05. Copy /SplashData to the ZData/ZPlugs/ folder
06. Run the exe and click on Enter Activation Key. Key will appear in box
07. Copy the Activation code to a notepad! and hit OK (in ZBrush)
08. Close ZBrush
09. Delete Zbrush.exe and rename the old one back in Zbrush.exe
10. Run ZBrush, It’ll still ask for Activation. Close ZBrush.
11. Repeat Steps 02 through 09
You’re Done! Next time you run, it should be fully working
12. Copy plugs and have fun!
NOTE: MAKE SURE YOU DELETE THE CRACK EXE AFTER RUNING THE CRACK ONCE, THATS THE REASON SOMEONE OF YOU CAN’T GET IT TO WORK. Don’t be lazy and just rename the crack exe, you HAVE to delete, and it will then work when you run the original one.
