dRaster NEX 1.5 For Maya
NEX is a unique plugin for Maya that includes a set of tools designed to increase the speed, accurracy, and efficiency of your workflow. Frequent actions like of manipulating components within Maya become more natural thanks to the unique integration of all NEX selection and transformation tools. Arduous jobs like resurfacing meshes can actually be fun using the NEX Quad Draw tool. Common polygon modeling tasks like Splitting faces, Connecting edges, or beveling have been reworked with maximum efficiency and interactivity in mind. Best of all, NEX does all this without leaving any custom nodes in your scene, or introducing any scene plugin depdendencies.
New Features
Connect
Introducing the world’s first Connect tool that will let you connect vertices, edges, polygons, or any combination of the three! The Connect tool also seamlessly integrates with the new NEX Symmetry feature. You can make single edge connections or multiple using the Connect tool’s custom options.
Multi-Cut
The Multi-Cut tool integrates three similar tools into one powerful tool. You get a much more reliable and interactive Polygon Split Tool, Cut Faces Tool, and Insert Edge Loop Tool. The powerful NEX pre-selection highlighting engine is fully integrated into the Multi-Cut tool, so you’ll know exactly what will happen before you make it happen.
Symmetry
The NEX Symmetry feature unleashes the power of the NEX toolset onto both sides of your mesh. In addition to mirroring all the mesh editing tools within NEX, your selections will be automatically mirrored. This allows you to apply mirroring with most native Maya commands and custom scripts you create or download. Even transformationally-asymmetric meshes can be used with the new NEX Symmetry feature.
Symmetry Tips and Tricks
In this video you’ll learn how to best use the new Symmetry feature within NEX. Right now, you can only use symmetry on meshes that are topologically symmetrical.

Why the hell, isn’t this software cracked yet. Is this uncrackable? We need the x64 version. I request all the pro crackers to please look into this matter.
Lol. Begging, yelling or pleading will not get you the 64 bits version. The crackers can’t either crack it. Or they don’t feel like it. I really like this statement: “I request all the pro crackers to please look into this matter.”
I request all the morons who think this plugin will transform them into good modelers to either cough up the $160 for the product or use an alternative product. I would love to see the 64 bit crack myself. But it’s simply not coming up so I move on.

i finally went ahead and bought it after waiting forever for the crack. i’ve tried some of the cracks for 32 bit but they were not stable. thanks anyway.
I have not posted, but am still waiting for a crack for this incredible plugin. I am all out of cash after doing 3 years of animation at university. (£3000 a year) I would love to buy it, but cannot.
I don’t demand anything, I just find it odd that a cracker would shun the challenge of a software everybody seems to want. It sure helped my workflow when I used the trial. It brings the ease of tools in 3DS max to maya!
May be, X-Force helped in making this software uncrackable, or else they would have already made a keygen for this, cos I have seen them always making perfect keygens for other graphics related softwares. C’mon X-Force smoke the competition my making a keygen for this great plug-in called DRaster NEX.

If you guys have time to learn a new 3d software I would suggest you to learn Softimage, because it has the NEX like features built in right out of the box. Also, Softimage and Maya both are very very similar 3d packages, the only difference I could find is that Softimage works a bit more smarter than Maya(do not ask any reasons, cos’ it is a long list) and it hardly crashes.
