I get an exe only when downloaded .
You have to extract the contents by double clicking the exe to see the readme. If you have photoshop cs5 already installed pls dont use the portable version.

Portable means you can carry it on a pendrive and use it on any computer. There is no need to install. All the functions are available on portable version including 3d.
Hi there, I tried a different download of portable Photoshop CS5 Extended and found that the 3D commands weren’t available. Have you actually tried out most menus to see whether they are available?
Another question: do you recommend that I should uninstall my old edition of Photoshop (an 8.0 one) BEFORE running the setup for the portable one? Thanks.
All 3d functions are available on portable version. Just open a 3d file (.3ds or .obj) and all the 3d functions will be available. Note that your computer should support opengl 3d or else you cant open 3d files and the 3d functions will not be available.
Erm..i just installed the software and my older version cs2 help file doesnt work anymore. Any ways to repair this? This is my very first time using portable version. Is it possible to have the help file activated (F1) in both softwares?

There is only few things that wont work on my win XP 32-bit. Automate stuff (File>Automate>Lens Correction / Merge to HDR pro / Photomerge…).
I get same error:
“Error 22: Windows does not have a constructor. Line 388:
-> var w = new Window(res)”
