  1. Thanks bro, can’t wait to try it out, although I sow some photos on holomatix web site and I think there are some areas that should be improved, but the render times are very low, so maybe it will be a good solution for the deadlines problems :)

  2. It seem that it can not install on 3ds max design 2011.I get this :
    “Summary :
    Failed to install Autodesk Max Design 2011 x64 Plug-in,

    Please ensure that you have write premissions to the plug-ins and icons directories whitin the Maya/Max instalation”

    ANY IDEAS?

  3. blablabla, it nice works on Maya, then install it on Max? no problemo. Try to run it in Max! hell yeah, lots of troubles! have no idea how to run it without errors since 6 months!

  4. hehehe, Now, when I solved this plugin instalation I can’t see it in the assign render tab… damn.

  5. 1. Run Rendition and install new Plug-In via the Plug-In Manager
    2. Run 3ds Max
    3. Select the Utilities tab (“hammer” tab on the right hand panel)
    4. Click the “More…” button and select the “RenditionExporter” utility Plug-In. This enables the Plug-In and you should see the controls below on the utility panel (see attached screenshot)
    5. Clicking the “Start” button begins the IPR process and all updates to the scene will now be communicated to Rendition
    6. Rendition will display updates
    7. When you wish to terminate IPR updates click the “Stop” button

  6. When i change resolution (any of the presets) in rendition it change only for that frame, if i will move the viewport in 3dsmax it returns at basic 640×480. Any idea to do it be permanent?

  7. CB: I knew this from months now but when hit ‘start’ all it do is 3ds show me an error (parser, wrong connection port 9001, etc)

  8. The 32bit version included in this archive is 1.0.437, not version 1.0.452. The earlier version (1.0.437) doesn’t support 2011 Max or Maya.

  9. I downloaded and installed the latest 1.0.452 32-bit version from Holomatix website and XF keygen works for that. Plugins for 3dsMax 2011 installed fine, however in Maya 2011, there are supposed to be 2 new buttons on the right hand side of the Rendering Shelf. There’s nothing there.

    I’ve been trying to solve this for a couple hours.

    Anyone else gotten this working in Maya 2011?

  10. working fine, but sloooow ok i have an old 8800gts… but Max Quicksilver engine is quicker, and after all, final render does in same times sames render, but with GI, nice shaders, perfect aa, etc. not interactive, but more productive. (and there is also interactive render for FR, but not very stable ! :/)

  11. Mac version for maya don’t work, you can download from website and aply the serial
