Hi, Thanks a lot for this tool. How to use the keygen? It’s always appears empty.
-Put the .mse(Found in Keygen Folder) file in your max scripts folder
-Run it through maxscript
-Transfer the generated .dat file to your max root dir.
where do we find this generated .dat file to transfer to the max root directory?

once you press the “generate” button, a .dat file is created and it is located where your .mse file is (keygen folder), if your file is in your downloads folder then that .dat file is located also there.
the problem is there is no generate buton around.
just exe file that i have already installed and keygen file included “VSSP_LicGen_iND” file and nothing more.
could you explain more please to crack it.

error installing:
Vray Studio Setup Pro can not be installed on systems with Windows Installer version smaller than 4.0.
Solved installing the most recent version… but i’m trying to install in max 2009 64 bits
doesnt work for max 2011 64bit?
did not work on max 2009 64 bit , vray-sp4a

Acctualy, it works on 3ds max design 2011 x64, with vray 1.5sp4a. I forgot to copy .dat licence to max root folder !!!!
hi all, TNKS NoBaX, amazing post, i have dream with this plugin, i have problem with the lights of the plugin and the presets, i have 3dsmax 2009 64b, when i want place a light, appeare a windows error, some like”Unknown class: no stand-in …..” is the type of error when 3dsmax dont have .DLL files, may be this version (3dmax2009) not work with VRAY_STUDIO_SETUP_PRO, if someone can help me, Thanks all.

V-Ray Studio Setup Pro NOT supported with V-Ray below version 1.5 SP4a (used VRayLight type = mesh). Also not full supported with 3ds Max 2009.
i think it is a bad idea to exclude max 2009 , even it needs rewriting the script….
material presets doesn’t seem to work… or is it just me
if you have an internet and is connected the plugin will not work only if you diconnect your internet or if you open the plugin window then connect it will work until you close the window again

I got a probleme it didn’t work with me (3Ds Max Design 2010,vray_adv_150SP4a, 32bit) when i use max script to run the keygen this pops up (Runtime error:filestream cannot create: vraystsetupprolock.tmp )
how can solve this issue ???
try run it as admin, i run 3ds max always as admin

etting an error trying to run VSSP_main.mse (I am understanding this is the method to get it running).
I ran Maxscript viewer to see this:

I didnt have trouble creating the lic and put it in when the internet disconnected. Started internet again and ran MAX as Admin and attempted to run script.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

works on 3dsmax 2009 64-bit….no problems…this is what i did
1) Installed this plugin: (selected 3dsmax 2009 root folder at the program selection window. Default its 3dsmax 2011)
2) Copied “VSSP_LicGen_iND” from the keygen folder to 3dsmax scripts folder
3) Run 3dsmax as Administrator. select RunScript and run the the VSSP_LicGen_iND from the max script folder.
4) just press generate
5) Copy the vraystsetupprolock.dat from the max scripts folder.
6) Paste it in 3dsmax root folder.
7) Enjoy

Maxscript Rollout Handler Exception: –Uknown property: ”color_mode” in $Vraylight:SB_Light_01 @ [0.0000, 0.0000, 1000.000]
Does anyone know how to fixt that! That would be great!
