Isn’t Keyshot supposed to replace Hypershot, as Luxology used to sell Hypershot. Or a scenario similar.
So, is this one any good as Keyshot is?
SHOT replaces HyperShot, which was sold by Bunkspeed. After HyperShot ceased, one of the developers left and released KeyShot which was pretty much the same as HyperShot, and it was under the name Luxion, not to be confused with Luxology, the makers of modo.
uhmmm.. not really.
Keyshot IS the real successor of Hypershot. Luxion owned the technology behind the old Hypershot and they basically got it back and release Keyshot.
Bunkspeed adapted their HyperMove technology to make SHOT. They restarted everything from the beginning with all-new software / interface / rendering engine.

32 bit patch fails to open? Anyone else gets this?
Running Win7 x64 but not getting the Apply or About buttons showing on screen, but running the win32 patch has both buttons showing.
Anybody else getting this or found a solution ???

I did not solve this particular problem, all credit, FOR ME, goes to RYU.
He said that problem is because of a size in font. So I went into control panel, fonts, (left hand side) change font size. I then changed the font size to the default value of 100%. I am using Win7 64bit. Just a small word of caution, make sure you save any important apps,folders, documents because you have to log off in order for the font size to change. I hope this helps some folks.

this is my favorite real time rendering software…
It asks me to install directX 9c updates, but I can’t find it anywhere, and all the links to it are dead, even on the microsoft page, any ideas people? :/
Im using SHOT for the 1st time.
For some reason, the image is tiny and in the center of the screen! Is there ANY way to resize it ? This is a LOT less intuitive than Hypershot!

I installed this FINAL release however both of them when clicking renderig the licensse installer comes out and the program stops responding, anybody tried this release….is it really final? it says B on the logo but on help menu it is OK!……thanks
