VFX artists can create high quality smoke and fire in Houdini 10 with the new Pyro FX tools. Utilizing cutting edge up-resing technology, Pyro FX makes it possible to create a low resolution simulation in planning out a shot, then increase the resolution on subsequent passes to add higher level of details and refinement. Pyro FX comes with several pre-made Pyro FX such as Billowy smoke and Fireball to give artists a head start when setting up a simulation.

What’s the difference between this release and version 11.0.446.9?
It’s a newer build. SideFX website has a development log detailing changes in build. Also believe if you register with them you can download newer build or you use to be able to not checked in a while.

hi, if still have a problem with the “gfont.exe” (the installer hangs there) tray uninstalling “Windows Live Essentials Beta” it worked for me !!

Licensing isn’t working just like the previous 10 release. The first server key is approved but all the other 5 keys give an invalid license key error. I did exactly as described in the install.txt and its not working. Tried both on win7 and vista and the same licensing error occurs..
