  1. Probably a stupid question but in the Windows installation mention is made
    of an “adjustment” to “The Foundry Licensing Utility” located in the Program files
    section.
    Problem…there is no such application nor folder???
    All the application items are located in folders marked “Nuke”

  2. Some interesting information:
    Your machine IP address and machine name is logged in the Licensing server and sent to the foundry (if you have network access) they also correlate this with your IP Address you have when registering on the Foundry web site…you know, to get updates ;)
    this gives them who you are , where you are and how often you use the software, as of nuke 7 the medicine did NOT stop this, so be warned, I think this is also possible with a few others like Maya, you may have noticed in Maya 2014 a notice saying they will send information to Autodesk upon installing..
