LWtoA is a custom plugin that integrate Arnold seamless inside Layout 11, with near all features suported by Arnold, including for example interactive rendering, all Arnold shading nodes, all Arnold lights, etc. The plugin is near to be features complete, and it is also near to be as complete as oficial Solid Angle plugin for Maya or Softtimage

Wow clearly the makers of Arnold are not interested in the Cinema 4D market, conversely, a 3D program is nothing, absolutely nothing, without a connection to a excellent rendering engine, therefore this may save the nearly dead Lightwave application that is if the developers of the application begin to grasp that the past elitist attitude of “let them eat cake” regarding complex UI is NOT a good selling point, after all Houdini has even come around and clearly Houdini is “technically” a superior application. Animators are sometimes cultivated as well, not just born genius. I suppose this is boring and whiny way of saying I hope lightwave sticks around but not that UI.
