  5. in cinema 4d hit ctrl + shift and see if you don’t get an error message dave. if I do it through the render menu its fine…. but shortcut keys no bueno.

  6. another fix that maybe work for some user according to lethahedinh but i didnt tried it:
    If the watermark appears in the render, edit the environment variables.
    Add this:
    Variable Name: redshift_LICENSE
    Variable Value: C:\ProgramData\Redshift\redshift-core.lic

  7. Thaks Spike’s the tip helped me.
    Got watermark in maya 2017, (had previously installed trial of redshift) and my enviroment variable redshift_LICENSE was set to 5053@localhost and maya complained ‘this redshift version does not support floating license…’ ect.

    after changing watermark is gone.

  8. For people who are facing watermark issue in maya and 3ds max app crashing issue just go to system properties-advance -environment variable find rlm and change Variable Name: redshift_LICENSE
    Variable Value: C:\ProgramData\Redshift\redshift-core.lic
    change in both system variable as well as user variable

    • Does anyone had an issue loading the xgen module rsmaya.xgen ? I can’t get Redshift loading in the list of the Xgen renderers, only Arnorld appears :(

      I’ve got this message in the script editor when Maya launch :
      #No module named rsmaya.xgen

      I already tried in Maya 2016,2017, and 2018, same error, and also tried reinstalling Redshift from scratch.
      Any clue?
