1) Rock Piles – The Texture Collection
This great bundle of sixteen ecosystem-based textures will turn any object into a pile of rocks of approximately the same shape.
Perfect for adding the finishing touches to your renders, whether it’s a river bank or waterfall, a mountainside, or a plain pile of rocks, there is something here that will do the job for you!
The piles of rocks come in two types, plane rock piles and piles of rocks overgrown with vegetation. There is even one with reeds and bulrushes for your waterside renders!
The Bundle contains:
Seven Rock Piles with rocks only – representing a variety of rock types.

Greener Gardens, Deeper Forests is a vegetation improvement.
It consists of 15 completely new SolidGrowth (.veg format) plants made with high resolution, photographic textures.
Each plant is carefully designed and tested to work perfectly in EcoSystems, even in huge ones, as you can see in the pictures below. Also you can see how each individual plant looks like in the 3 pictures at the bottom. Of course, these being SolidGrowth plants, each instance of one type of plant, will be different from the other, just the main attributes will be kept. The diversity of the plants present in this product ranges from a new, much better grass, to realistic or fantastic trees.

1) Scots Pine
Pines are evergreen, coniferous trees in the family Pinaceae containing over 100 species, native to most of the Northern Hemisphere.
Scots Pine (Pinus sylvestris) is a common tree ranging from Central Europe to eastern Siberia. In the north of its range, it occurs from sea level to 1000 m, while in the south of its range, it is a high altitude mountain tree, growing at 1200-2500 m altitude.
Mature trees can reach up to 35 m. The actual model depicts a mature tree (12-17 m). 150k – 300k Polygons. 2) Incredibly Lush Wheat Fields
This pack has all you need to create lovely cultivated fields of Wheat. Green plants for the Spring, Maturing for late Spring and Golden for your Summertime renders. You’ll also find stubble for your harvesting renders and three different types of wildflowers for those weedy fields; Cornflower, Field Daisy and a brand new, high resolution Field Poppy. Also enclosed are nine Wheat Field EcoSystems, including flowery fields and a Harvest EcoSystem. 3) Incredibly Lush Underbrush.

6) Some Bamboo for you
Bamboos are a group of woody perennial evergreen plants. The stems, or ‘culms’, can range in height from a few centimetres to 40 metres, with stem diameters ranging from 1 mm to 30 cm. Although bamboo is a grass, many of the larger bamboos are very tree-like in appearance and they are often called “bamboo trees”. Bamboos are found in diverse climates, from cold mountains to hot tropical regions. All textures and Solid Growth plant modifications in this package were made by Angela Hauer/ alegrocher. 7) Incredibly Lush Autumn Shrubs
This is a small Autumn Shrub pack which will make a beautiful and colorful addition to your Vue Plant folder. It was created as an add-on pack for my updated Incredibly Lush Garden Bushes, but these plants can also be purchased and used without owning the Garden Bushes pack. Included are four delightful plant species: Viburnum, Puncia Granatum, Nadina Domestica and a lovely Ozakazuki Japanese Maple in two different varieties, one large and one small. All plants are sized to real world sizes.
Heath Moorland Bundle
A set of heath land plants and ecosystems which have been designed to recreate heath and moorlands at all times of year. 14 heathland plants, comprised of 9 heathers and 5 bushes, plus 8 ecosystems are included in this collection. All plant textures have been made using botanical illustrations as reference material.

Here’s a tree pack for Vue 7 from Incredibly Lush that’s filled with trees based on the Scots Pine. In this pack, there are 9 beautiful evergreen and deciduous tree species enhanced with textures created from photos taken by Austin Lenahan on the West Coast of the North American Continent. You’ll find evergreens in two versions, usually low and gnarled as seen in planes and valleys, as well as tall versions for your dense hill and mountain forest scenes. Deciduous trees come in their summer and colorful autumn versions. Trees included in the pack are: the Balsam Poplar, Colorado Blue Spruce, Douglas Fir, False Cedar, Mountain Ash, Paper Birch, Ponderosa Pine, Quaking Aspen. You’ll also find a Golden Western Tamarack (Western Larch), a Tamarack Forest EcoSystem and a bonus of several lovely winter trees, for a total of 26 vegetation files for Vue 6. Please note: This pack is only available for Vue 6 and you must have Cornucopia3D’s Scots Pine installed on your system for the trees to work. Capture One uses the concept of ‘Collections’ to group images together, in the example shown below this happens to be images in a particular folder, although in reality images from various sources can be grouped into a collection. The default layout has the collection pane (thumbnails) on the left, preview / work pane in the center and function tabs on the right. All panes can be resized or collapsed, you can also work in full screen mode without a titlebar.
The one big strength Capture One DSLR has over the Canon software is that all adjustments happen in (almost) realtime. That means you can make a grey balance adjustment and see the change immediately, this is far better than the rather slow-to-change Canon FIle Image Viewer.

You can alternatively switch to a horizontal view (press F8) which shifts the collection pane to the bottom of the window. This is probably a more useful layout for landscape photography.

Color Management and Preferences
Globally you can set various preferences including full color management support. Capture One DSLR comes provided with profiles for the EOS-1D and EOS-1Ds under various light conditions. You can also select destination color profiles for output, web and proof destinations as well as your monitor profile. There are also a wide range of preferences to choose from, click on the reduced image below to see them in more detail.

Operation and Workflow
Operationally you can work on previous shot and stored images or capture directly from the camera ‘into’ a collection live in the Capture One DSLR application. This feature wasn’t tested at this stage.
As you change settings such as color balance, sharpening etc. these are stored by Capture One in its own database (remembered on a per image basis). These settings can be saved and loaded as well as applied to selected images, a batch ‘development’ or an entire collection. Settings are arranged into three of the five function tabs on the function pane, each function pane is described below.

Output
Below you will find two versions of the same EOS-1Ds RAW image output as JPEG from both Capture One DSLR and Canon’s own File Viewer Utility. Remember that Capture One DSLR is still in its Beta form and thus image quality and performance may not be true to the final version. I do like the overall tonal balance and color response of the Capture One DSLR image, very nice.
