PixPlant is a texturing tool that creates seamless 3D textures from common photos. Starting from a photo, PixPlant creates a seamless texture and then generates high quality normal, displacement and specular maps which can be fine tuned in an interactive 3D preview.

Because it works from plain photos, PixPlant adds an unlimited choice of realistic textures for 3D projects: pick an interesting real world image, run PixPlant and get a perfect seamless 3D texture in a few clicks. Available in standalone and Photoshop plug-in versions, PixPlant reduces to almost zero the time and repetitive work of preparing tiling 3D textures and backgrounds.     Looks interesting, but what’s the relationship between the “Seed” texture and the texture you’re processing. They could have used a better paradigm I think?

    Corentin, just copy “PixPlant.exe” from ENGiNE folder to the folder where you installed PixPlant (like “c:\Program Files\PixPlant2″) and replace the original file

    DL the demo from pixplant.com; get crack (same crack from ENGiNE) using cracknews.com; test the software; if you like it buy it. :P
