If you use mental ray Standalone, you must update to this version in order to be compatible with 3ds Max 2009 and 3ds Max Design 2009 software. Make sure to also download the appropriate mental ray Standalone installer.

  2. Doesn’t 3d max 2009 already comes with mental ray?

    Or is this for those that want more nodes for renderfarm?

    Anyway of making this work with other software or some exporter to complie blender to mental ray.

    Is Max 2009 already comes with MentalRay included ?

    Or maybe there’s an extra features from this release ?

  10. 3ds max doesn’t work with mac silly.
    this is to use mental ray as a renderfarm and you can use mac to help render mental ray files

    and finish dream of mental ray standalone .

  15. crack does not work here for 32 bit system either, what ever happened to the spm server cracks of the good old days!!!
