The crack for the 32-bit version is missing from the archive!
I don’t know whre u’ve been looking for it, but in my 32-bit archive IS the crack inside. Maybe your archive is been broken due to bad connection.

yeah, the crack folder is there, but the file inside is for 64-bit, NOT for 32-bit. so the 32-bit version is missing, while the 64-bit is present in both archives

Well, I’m really sorry for that, but if you think free software is a waste of time, try to buy it.
Installation:
1. Install the program
2. overwrite C:_Windows_System32_sesinetd.exe with the one in the crack dir (u might need to boot in save mode to be successful)
3. Start Houdini License Administrator and look up your Server Information
4. type it in the keygen, then press Generate
5. copy the Keys into the License Administrator (Manually entry Keys)

I downloaded the free version from the sidefx site, I instaled it used the crack and I didn’t need to use the keygen, but in the sidefx folder I starteed hmaster.exe and it works.

When you install Houdini you install also sesinetd on your computer (in windows/system32) running as SERVICE. You MUST stop it from Control Panel – administration and replace it with the cracked sesinetd. Reboot and

this is fucking retarded I generate a license I do a manual key entry, It says license installed, I run it again right click one of the licenses list user “License not in USE” WTF. then at the bottom it says license server does not have a valid server key? WTF? If I try to do a license install it asks for email address and password ?

Just restart the houdini license server from the task manager/services tab after going thru the install process. Worked on win7 x64
well the problem lies in copying the sesinetd.exe file if you copy and paste /replace through windows explorer ..it shows it did the task but it wont do it…yes its true …i have been in to this problem ..n i spend almost 3 months figuring it out ..
anyway you have to use command prompt from msdos window and copy this sesinetd.exe in to windos system32 folder and when is says ..1 file copied then u can start hservr and hlic server and after this process use the keygen ..and it will work..

I installed the houdini and crack it as explained, I Run the programme and it work fine, sesintetd installed many licence itself after overwritting the sesinetd file in safe mode, which means I did not do any manual entrty of keys again. I run the application and it Work fine, but I can’t render my scenes, it coaains of licence, can anyone pls Help, its urgent, I. Beg of you guys, or is there a sspecial way of rendering in hhoudini cos am new, pls guys its urgent, Thanks to you all

Just in case, for Win users. Turns out in Win7 computers the sesinetd.exe is sometimes saved in SysWow64 instead of Sys32. The \not accepting licenses\ problem happened to me because I placed it on Sys32. Once I placed it on SysWow64 (replacing the old one) it didn?t even need to ask for licenses. I tried it on 3 PCs and worked.

When I try restarting the HoudiniLicenseServer after replacing sesinetd.exe I get the error message:
Windows could not start the HoudiniLicenseServer service on Local Computer.
Error 216: 0xd8

Okay, so the download said it was win32 but the sesinetd.exe was actually 64 bit. I’ve now downloaded 5 different supposed 32bit versions and all have the same 64bit sesinetd.exe included. Has anyone got this to work on win32? If, so could you please upload the 32bit sesinetd.exe only and post a link? Thank you.
To work you need to copy the file manually sesinetd.exe. (64 bit version to a folder ? SysWOW64, for 32-bit version of the program in a folder ? System32) Not through Total Commander!
