   • AutoDesk’s greed. ;)

     Anyway not sure why any serious user would upgrade to this, not much to offer except a few feature associated with 3rd party apps, what some ragdoll stuff, etc. also good luck waiting for plugins again.

     • The only reason to upgrade is that they have tried fixing some software bugs in this version, that and fixing CAT probably makes it worthwhile.

     • Not only ram but the whole architecture is slower :) Anyways it doesn’t really matter because Max is most bugged and unstable comercial software out there, no matter the version or architecture. Learned from 2 years of expirience.

    • there usually is no difference, download the trail and use xforce keygen

    • there is no difference: every AD iso release is based on trial files. trial files are nothing but rar archive, and iso contents are nothing but decompressed trial archive

    • yes it does have the ragdoll stuff finally. feature list is not that big this year though, checkout AD’s site to see the “major” updates

    • Sdk has changed so plugins are not compatible.

    Are they different from the torrent files?(Their names indicate that they are iso!)
    If they are different, then what’s the difference?

35. why on earth should i download this one if i am using a 3rd party plug-ins a lot..nothing new expect for the interface and a little bit of changes..i will not change my max 2010 for this especially i am using plug-ins.maybe i will delete max 2012 in external hdd because i thought i could use it in the near future then here comes again another one.

38. 3dmax 2013 failed to install, petition of disc of 3d max when install of UI, and install directly for the folder “max” error of Servie “mental ray 3.10 Satellite for autodesk 3ds max 2013 64-bit” somebody can install this version.

    please help!!!

    • Try this:
      1) Go to following folder and open “services” file with Notepad:
      Windows\System32\drivers\etc\services
      2) Add the following line to the end of file:
      mi-raysat_3dsmax2013_64 7509/tcp #mental ray satellite service
      3) Save it and try again.

      • no men, i can’t, i try again and, not install, same error, service, “metal ray bla bla bla…” Verify that you have sufficient privileges to star system service.

        how I can set starting this?

        • Sorry dud, I don’t understand! You couldn’t edit that file or you could edit the file but after that you couldn’t install again?
          Have you tried to run max setup as administrator?
          If you have not tried it, just do this:
          Right click on max setup file(the exe file) and then choose “Run as administrator” and install max.
          If your problem relates to permissions, then this is going to work.
          And if it worked, after you installed it, right click on max icon on your desktop and select “properties”, then go to “compatibility” tab and under “Privilege Level” tick the “Run this program as an administrator”.

40. To those who are having problems installing, try downloading the trial from Autodesk directly, and if that fails you can legitimately contact Autodesk and tell them their trial is not installing correctly.
