In this 3ds Max tutorial we will learn how to animate a quadruped. Throughout these lessons we will learn how to breakdown the complex movements of a quadruped into manageable steps to create a fun and natural-looking animation. We’ll start by taking a look at reference before we begin blocking in the animation. After that we’ll learn how to smoothly transition from our blocking stage to our polish pass all the while learning essential workflows like follow-through techniques and managing animation in 3ds Max’s Curve Editor. We’ll learn how to use simple expressions to shift keyframes to an exact time and value so we’ll better know how to create life-like quadruped animations. By the end of this course, you will have the skills to bring your own quadruped to life in a convincing way.

  2. This one is new or is a reupload? I remember seeing another tutorial for max and quadrupeds. I wonder if someone know already.

    • Ok I looked at DT website. Is by the same author and same model aswell. The old one was 5 hours and this one are 2. Some screenshots looks pretty similar. Im confused, I dont know if is a new tutorial, a remake or a second part O.o
