Throughout these lessons we’ll learn how to create an epic matte painting with digital
images in Photoshop. We’ll learn how to choose a theme, choose our source images, set up
our scene and the perspective for our elements. We’ll also discuss which key factors we
should keep in mind while building our matte painting structure and composition.

Next, we will blend our elements together into a seamless composition by creating custom
brushes and using color gradients.

By the end of this tutorial you will understand the key principles and composition factors
of creating a matte painting.
