Exocortex ImplosiaFX enables advanced customizable fracturing/shattering as well as robust fast and scalable CSG boolean operations. ImplosiaFX builds upon the powerful ICE Modeling framework introduced in Autodesk Softimage 2012 and is fully compatible with the rigid body simulation features of Exocortex Momentum
ImplosiaFX is a shatter toolset add-on for Autodesk Softimage.It presented in two ways:
1. simple operator form which allows you to fracture any geometry in few mouse clicks
2. ICE-Based framework with ability to build almost any fracture pattern procedurally
All of that supports UV\UserNormal and Material attributes as well as caching this stuff into files with subsequent assembling of full dynamic topology meshes. It provides three factory methods of fracturing and the pure boolean tool as an addition that can be used for building your own shatter tools.
With this release we have added an ability to fracture specific areas that can be defined by any solid mesh volume or obtained from either weightmap or b\w texture. ImplosiaFX also provides a few utilities like chunk extraction ( works on any meshes ) and userNormals passing over ExocortexMomentum deform bodies operator as well as list of Voronoi point generators.
