Autodesk has released Maya 2027, the next major version of its 3D modeling and animation software for visual effects, games and motion graphics work.
The update adds features throughout Maya’s key toolsets, including 3D modeling, look development, character rigging, animation, simulation and rendering.
Highlights include the new Smart Bevel system, the integration of skinning add-on ngSkinTools, and support for surface tension in Bifrost liquid simulations.
There are also new AI-based features, including an experimental AI assistant, and support for animating horses with generative AI animation system MotionMaker.

Changes to Maya’s core toolsets include new bevel-generation system Smart Bevel.
Unlike Maya’s existing Bevel command, it follows the shape of the mesh rather than its underlying topology, producing better results on meshes with uneven edge spacing.

I installed it but still asking me serial or license server. Help me
Did you do the simple, or complicated install? Copy/Paste BOTH dlls into install dir, not just one. See if it works.
Always use the simple install if you have the option to. Max 2027 doesn’t give us that option, but Maya 2027 does.
i haven’t installed any cracked softwares before could anyone explain how to install this
Install the program, don’t START after install. ***USE THE SIMPLE INSTALL METHOD NOT THE LICENSE SERVER***
Then, copy mlib0.dll and OpenEXRCore-3_4-maya.dll into your Maya install directory, overwriting whatever you have to.
Afterwards, it runs with no issues.

Is anyone else having trouble installing the Arnold renderer?
Maya installation doesn’t complete if Arnold renderer is also chosen to be installed along with it.
So I installed only Maya and that worked.
I ran the setup again to add Substance and Arnold. Subsance installation succeded but Arnold failed again.
Tried installing only Arnold through the installer in X64 folder.
It failed again.
I did uninstall the MtoA s for the other two versions of Maya I have installed to see if there could be a version-conflict.
Would highly appreciate any suggestions/help I can get.
If someone can upload the standalone MtoA installer for the above Maya build it would be great.

Uninstall everything, run CCleaner registry scan (or equivalent) to remove obsolete entries. If you have more than one version of Maya installed, uninstall all of them.
Reinstall 2027.2 and do simple installation method- no license server nonsense.
See if it works.
