    I see no keygen, patch or crk….Says it is an evaluation copy…

  28. Hello, can’t apply any Renderman Shader (Displacement, Volume…) on a object, this crashes Maya.
    I’ve got Maya 2009 OSX and Renderman 3 for Maya.

  35. Where does the patch go inorder to crack renderman v3 for pc?

    The patch does nothing when i click it. It just says “cannot acess file in use, please close file and try again.” If you could please let us know how you got that patch to work.

    I installed it but i have watermarks all over my rendered image. Please could someone help me out.

  39. You do not need to put it in any folder… I couldn’t install the damn thing until i realise that i need to turn off the user account control on Vista… then it works like a CHARM!

  40. for the ones getting crashes

    Good news, we found an easy work-around to avoid the crash. If you update your RenderMan_for_Maya.ini file so it contains this code, then Maya won’t crash:

    code:
    SetPref DisableSwatchRender 1;

    You’ll want to create a custom RenderMan_for_Maya.ini file instead of modifying the one in your RfM installation directory (in the etc folder). To do this, create an environment variable named RMS_SCRIPT_PATHS, and set the value to some directory path where you will store your custom .ini files. Then in that directory, create a file named RenderMan_for_Maya.ini, and in a text editor program add this text to it:

    SetPref DisableSwatchRender 1;
    RAT::LogMsg INFO “Custom RenderMan_for_Maya.ini loaded!”

    Then save the file, and start Maya and load the RfM plug-in. If everything is set up correctly, you should see the text “Custom RenderMan_for_Maya.ini loaded!” in the script editor window after you have loaded the RfM plug-in. Then you should be able to create the Renderman Shader node.

  42. The crack only works on the renderman mll, and in safe mode. Installed in on Windows 7 but spent a whole day to get it working

    it does not useful for high level working
    it s just for playing or rolling in the RMan.

    jus restart you pc in safe mode run tht patch ..
    it will fix it enjoy renderman :)
