Arboretum Tree Generator For 3dsMax

Arboretum is a tree generator using the script language of 3DS Max. So, it can only be used with 3DS Max (7 and next) and Viz.
The actual versions of Arboretum only works with Vray in order to use its Materials and its fur engine (for pines).Arboretum is composed of several series (2 at the moment). Some free tools are provided with, like ? snow 3D ? that allows you to get easily a snowy surface on your 3D Object , ? vigne ? that is a yvi like generator and ? Vigne vierge ? that is a climbing wall plant generator.

    Instalation perfect.
    But when i change the texture path,leave the message “Runtime error:Filestream cannot create:Chemin_textures.txt”.
    I have 3dsmax 2010 and Vray SP5.
    Whats the solution??

  11. (I’m test with 3DS MAX Design 2011 and V-Ray 1.5 SP4a)
    * Only works with V-Ray
    * Arboretum S2 V1 5 48 uk.mse, Arboretum S1 V1 5 51 uk.mse and Neige 3d.mse works fine.
    * VIGNE_VIERGE 008.mse, Vignes 1 2 4.mse, doesn’t work:
    MAXScript Rollout Handler Exception
    — No “getKnotPoint” function for undefined

    **Shodan
    If you like to change the texture path, you need to run the 3DsMax as Administrator (do you have the V-Ray 1.5 SP5 32bit x86?)

    I tried to administrator mode and it works perfectly.
    Now we have to prove it works.
    Very good script.

    It is normal you get an error, you have downloaded the full arboretum version and you didn’t purchase it so you don’t have any licence number.
    Buy it and Arboretum will find your licence number…

    you can also try the limited free version with only 4 trees.

    Arboretum is really not expensive, do not hesitate to get it.
