SketchUp is one of the most widely used and easy to learn 3D Modeling software on the market today. With V-Ray for SketchUp, users now have one of the most powerful rendering tools available to visualize their models with the upmost quality and realism. V-Ray works within the SketchUp environment allowing users to be able to efficiently incorporate the task of rendering within their current workflows.

  11. OK man, I’ve found the solution to the installation problem on Win XP, reading on the ASGVIS forum! In particular thanks to “ExTrEmE79” and “JmanL88”

    1. You have to change the “vfs.rb” in the plugins folder of Google. First i think you have to do a backup of the original vsf.rb (something like vsf.rb.backup), then rename vsf.rb in vsf.txt so you can edit it with notepad. You have to go to line 22 (+ or -)

    return “#{ENV[‘ALLUSERSPROFILE’]}/Application Data/ASGVIS”

    and change “Application Data” to whatever your system’s Application Data folder is called in your language. So “Dati applicazioni”, if your OS is Italian, otherwise you have to put “Anwendungsdaten” if German or “Datos de programa” if Spanish, and so on

    example:
    Italian
    return “#{ENV[‘ALLUSERSPROFILE’]}/Dati applicazioni/ASGVIS”
    German
    return “#{ENV[‘ALLUSERSPROFILE’]}/Anwendungsdaten/ASGVIS”
    Spanish
    return “#{ENV[‘ALLUSERSPROFILE’]}/Datos de programa/ASGVIS”
    etc..

    2. You need to modify also another file:
    inside “All Users” application data folder.. then inside asgvis\vfs\ you can find init.py
    Like previously, edit this phyton file with notepad.. and here you will see at line 12 another path to change according your windows localization!
    After that.. you can run again SU7 and you will find the toolbar!!!!
    Obiously you need to start the license before use it

  17. Hi guys!Here it seemed to work but when tried to crack it the file in \programdata\ isn’t even created.It doesn’t exist.Soooo where shall I put the crack now. Please if anyone had the same problem, please explain!

    • go to “folder option” then show the hidden folder and system,, if still can’t find it, just hit your computer :>

    installed the prog on win7 64bit, and it worked fine as a demo. Replaced the crack files, and now my Sketchup (and vray plugin) doesn’t start.
    any tips?

    • the vray 1.48.89 is installed n cracked properly as well n all options works great. well but the only thing is that when i click on render it doesnt work… at the below left corner it says, ‘vray is currently processing your scene, please wait’ ..
      i waited for whole night but the vray render frame dint open at all.. lol. not to joke about. but just please tell me whats wrong with it.. ?/

    i got some problems, maybe someonelse got them, too?
    1. i installed 1.48.89 till .93 up to 96, i tried all three of them but it was allways the same. sketchup pro (7.1.6860.) become a littlebit too lame (slow) in my opinion. without vray, it starts within 10 sec (no matter if windows 7 or xp prof sp3).
    but if i installed any vray, it became 1min oder longer.
    when i worked, it start to freeze, so working was impossible…

    i checked many forums, bought ne grafikcard etc. but nothing helps.

    anybody else here with this problem?
    anyone kno how to fix that?
    maybe someone could post his system, where it works?

    my system:
    intel dualcore 2,66ghz
    windows 7
    2 gb ram
    nvidia 7600gt 256mb

    notebook:
    intel dualcore 2,0
    xp prof sp3
    1gb ram
    ati radeon x 1600 256mb

    older versions of vray allways worked fine, i?m happy to see some infos from u.

    • by the way, on both of my systems
      the latest vrays work, but sketchup freezes, zoomin and out is not possible without stuttering and so on.
