  11. It does not work and can only install as renderslave standalone, and not as workstation. after installation max does not see rt sp2.

      • I didnt even get to the active shade, since I keep getting some error report when I try to use active shade.

  16. ~sjena if it works then how did you do this??:) For me it DOESN`T Work. I copied the cgauth.dll to 3ds Max`s root folder and it doesn`t see Vray in ActiveShade.

  18. Ok. I managed to do this. It works with Vray sp5. First you must copy cgauth.dll to 3ds Max`s main folder AND THEN install VRAY RT.:) I installed it as workstation this way.

    • but i wonder why this work this way.. when you copy the patched file first and then install. the original installation overwrite your copyed crack?

      how ever… when its works than its ok ;)

  19. Instalation process went but Active Shade still isn`t working. If someone know how to make it work then please share :) this info. Sorry for double posting.

    • dante at first you must say max that you want to use the vrayRT as active shade

      press F10 and choose in the common/assign renderer/active shade the vRay RT. as default is there the default active renderer from max

      then go in your perspective or camView and choose under perspective the active shade.
      if you have install it correctly the vrayRt search first for the licence server, and wait for data input ;) you see a black view as first

    Does anyone knows how to turn off that and why is that necessary for VrayRT sp2 to work..?

  25. how to install cebas plugins in MAX design 2011 please help i cant see them anywhere on the toolbars etc. heeelp

    • aehm, the cebas plugins are distributed in whole max.
      read the helpfiles. reading are sometimes very helpfull ;)

      • in other topics nobody replies cuz everyone already downloaded things, so i’m posting it in this fresh site.
        i installed everything as it says in help file, crack works, but when i start 3ds max i can’t see any cebas plugin on their respective places, like effets tab, or in particles i can’t see “thinking” etc.
        i can’t see cebas in plugins preferences window either

        • this sounds strange, bu i cant help you by the problem

          mybe you deinstall all your previous things from cebas and clean your system up from any fragments (directorys,registry) and install it again?

          i dont like the cebas products, becose iv try them and have same problems like you, or double plugin id’s etc.

    2.error: could not obtain a license (10061)

    • did you have allowe your firewall that vrayRT communicate with the licence server?

    • that’s probably because you first copied crack and only after that did the install:-)

  31. cracked VRay scatter, autograss not working with sp5 so i won’t change for sp5 just for rt :(

    • you mean you have cracked version of vrayscatter for 3dsmax 2011?
      how come no one uploaded it to cgpersia? I want Vrayscatter for max 2011 too anyone have download link?

    the source file is on the chaosgroupserver…and max 2009 has many working plugs!

  38. @lino2_ you can find it on chaosgroup side…

    BUT…the best difference is, that proxis and xrefs are full supported! ;)
    I need it for max2009!

    …by the way in 2months VRAY RT2.0 will comming out! It will support a GPU-Renderer, which is now 10 to 20 times faster (with the nvidia480 against an Core i7 920)

    I used vray sp5 and can render realistic.. but everybody is talking about VrayRt sp2. what is it with vrayRT? I mean what can it do?

    • lawchin, VrayRT is a Real Time renderer as where Vray is only a renderer.

  49. it is not gpu based… Vray RT 2.0 is gpu based. It will have special buttton to change from gpu to cpu to gpu+cpu…
