  1. AS QUOTED FROM THE ORIGINAL RELEASE:

    Instructions:
    Install Instructions by gbovs

    1 Install the program

    2 When it asks for lic or licence file press ‘Cancel’ Button

    3 The next screen should show 3 lines of text- select your ‘HOSTID’ copy it to clipboard

    4 Press ‘Cancel’ Button

    5 Open your license.xml file, it will take a second, when it opens look down till you see the lines – host id=”PUT HOST ID HERE” name=”permanent” – and SELECT the text letters and DELETE those and THEN PASTE in your HOSTID. BE CAREFUL to get it BETWEEN the speech marks.(“”)

    6 Save the file.(If you know what you are doing – ‘SAVE AS’ to the relevent directory below) Otherwise just follow the instructions in 7.

    7 Copy that file you JUST saved to the directory that Vred is installed to:
    IE:C:\Program Files\PI-VR\vred-4.23-x64\ (64bit) or C:\Program Files (x86)PI-VR\vred-4.23 (32bit)if thats the one its installed in.

    8 When you have done the above select the x64 or 32bit whichever you are installing pi-vreed.pro.64bit-patch exe file and right click and ‘run as admin’ (if in vista and win 7) and run the file.

    It will ask you to ‘find’ the file its wants in this case its two.

    The FIRST one is als.dll (located in your vred-4.23 dir/bin/64x (or 32bit if thats what you have). When you find the file select it and press enter or next.

    Then the second file it will find itself. Once it has (with your help) found these files it will patch them and then it will say ‘patching done’ Close patcher.

    9 Run program and enjoy.

    ESSENTIALS AND PHOTO INSTALL

    NOTE: YOU do not need license.xml for VRED esentials JUST APPLY the patch ONLY and have fun

    Vred Photo you install – then immediatly run patch as admin – this time its finding THREE files – just show it where to look ie vredphoto-4.23 +(-x64) if 64bit and as soon as you show it that it will find the file( als.dll), if it does not then get it look in the BIN directory.

    After that there is TWO more to find .. it will find those itself. Close it down when it says ‘patched ok’.

    One last thing to get VredPhoto up and running ….go to the other Vred folder ie C:\Program Files\PI-VR\vred-4.23-x64 (or program files (x86) ) if 32bit and find the licence.xml file you put in there, copy it and paste it into the new vredphoto-4.23 directory (-x64) directory if 64bit and thats it. Crack on and enjoy all working.

  8. I have a problem..i installed vred photo x64 on w7 x64 pro, went through the steps and when i start the program it hangs in the “initializing main window” screen… wtf i have to do to make it work?
