glu3D GPU is the NVIDIA CUDA GPU accelerated version of the well know glu3D fluid dynamics plugin for 3dsMax. It speeds up intensive computations that glu3D performs to calculate particle fluid dynamics. With this glu3D edition it is possible to simulate faster and with more particles than before; it is possible to simulate your scene more times; it is almost interactive. Animated fluid scenes with more quality and level of detail.
This 3dsMax plug-in system works under all 3dsMax from version 9 to 2012 in both system architectures: x64 and x86.

Is this CUDA only, or is OpenCL also supported?

Those first file “servers” are plain awfull.

I completelly forgot about their fluid dynamic because it has no multithreading, and engine is nonrealistic (fluid particles all look like jellatinous little sticks) and unoptimised (hours and hours of calculation for few thousand particles for pretty lousy job full of shattering, tearing and wobbling compared to realflow). Who knows.. maybe now it can be interesting to see how it copes, if it is few magnitudes faster on gpu?
Aside that, I think that Chaostools Phounix FD is way more advanced for full fledged max plugin?
When i click on Go my pc crashes completely.
why ?
im in windows 7 x64 max 2012 and 8800GTX card.
Dis is based on CUDA processor and ur 8800 card is not CUDA. Use new series of 500 or 600….
need to be consider : jumbo files at all donwload links will be great..thx
