This 8 and a half hour video will show you how I approach material creation in V-Ray. It?s fully narrated and will try to explain everything done in the tutorial.
Viscorbel will show you how to create more than 70 materials, which can be further modified to make countless variations. The techniques I?m using can be mixed and matched, or used to create completely different materials. This video will show you some tricks you can apply to your own work in more than one way.?
Here is a quick outline of what you?ll see

 

  • Making seamless textures in Photoshop
  • Creating bump/reflection maps (including hand-painting a custom wrinkle bump map)
  • Creating custom dirtmaps
  • Creating all the materials from scratch
  • Creating advanced materials with VRayBlendMtl
  • Creating custom parquet/tile patterns in 3Ds MAX and Photoshop

  3. please please support this talented man if you can. his tutorials is so cheap considering its quality.as its one of the best tutorials in 3ds max so far. I am afraid he will stop making his great tutorials if he can’t get enough purchases due to piracy . If you can afford it please support him to continue his marvelous work. and please hackers don’t offer the content of small companies too soon. let the creators gain some profit before ruining their sales.

  5. Great post… the servers are the shame tough…U just buy a premium account…and the up-loaders change server…COME ON !!.. decide only two different servers and stick with it.. !!!

  6. I completely agree with you Bartholomews I just bought a premium account and now another server. Why ?

    • if your talking about jumbofiles it was down when i was uploading this so i went for ifile.it instead but I managed to get some jumbofile links uploaded for you all.

      • No in fact I was talking about turbobitnet and freakshare they where used most of the time before but anyway thanks for the share. i had to start first with that thank you, apologies

        • Turbobit is a very shady company and frankly i dont want to upload with them Freakshare is ok but i find it provides a shit service for free users and plus the fact its based in germany so transactions in euros and vat etc.
          so this is why i use filefactory as you can buy premium accounts in us dollars and its very fast to upload too for me.
          same with jumbofiles and jumbofiles provides a great service for free users.

  24. When I used WinRAR to unpack the files it said that Viedo part 1.zip was corrupted. Only got videos 9-11. Anyone see this also?
