In this Maya tutorial we will look at using polygon modeling techniques to complete a female character. Throughout these lessons we will cover the foundations of modeling a high resolution female that will deform properly when animated. Along the way we will learn how we can avoid many common beginner mistakes and develop a workflow that is efficient and effective. We will also learn a lot of basic and advanced female anatomy, and how to capture high resolution realism with simple geometry. By the end of this course you will have a great foundation for building your own female characters for film, broadcast and video games.

  7. That is one of the damn ugliest female characters I’ve seen. The person who made doesn’t have the slightest clue what is under our skin.

    • Gene was probably more involved with her breasts. He didn’t skimp on the breasts (lessons 6 and 7). BTW, butt lovers are satisfied in lessons 8 and 9. :)

  11. This tutorial is so bad. In the first tutorial the guy starts working on the upper body, legs and arms. In the second tutorial the body already has feet as well. Then the guy isn’t actually explaining as he goes, no, he’s only commenting over the video. Every second word is “…um…”, “…ugh…” etc.

    Plus is model looks ugly as hell. I mean look at her hands, or her weird deformed spine.

    Thanks for uploading U.N Owen but if you’re looking for something to learn then you’re wrong here. This tutorial is rubbish.
