            • The BEST of ALL 3D programs is the one you master.
Retarded idiots stating theirs is better than the others just loose their time as they will always get a : “NO, mine is better”. (a stupid kid?s fight)

          • Tell that to Allan McKay.
I have seen comparable work between Max, Maya, C4D, XSI, and even Modo. The artist uses the software he is most comfortable with. I love Max for rendering. I like the hundreds of available plugins you can use, and maxscript. Maya is foreign to me. I personally don’t use Max or Maya for modeling. I use Modo to push polygons, and transfer to max for rendering. Maya has one advantage, and that is Renderman. But that is not a set back for other software. Renderman has advantages, and disadvantages and Mental Ray can beat out some of it’s features. It’s all in your knowledge.

          • Retard !!!, max is max if you don’t know shit about the software all you can do is absolutely nothing…, max is one of the best all in one 3d packages, you best stick with sketchup and your dildo you little faggot !!!

  1. I’m not getting any result, the preview window is always black and when I try to render it gives me: error: Atmospheric “FusionWorks Renderer” is not supported.

  2. I tried to optional of fumefx 3.5 for tp but it fails to initialize can someone help me whats the wrong its working in fumefx 3.0.1 but not with this reply plz.

  3. I’ve installed it and follow these steps over 10 times but nothing happens in 3dsmax no FumeFx under geometry… need a solution

  4. OMG!!! i love this release :D :D thankss soo much people. keep up the hard work. Much appreciated :D :) boundless grid FTW!!!

  5. Everyone love new versions with better features. The only way for any software development to continue is to support developers and buy original software.

    • Actually, pretty much everyone here will use it to learn and make demo reels in the hopes to land a job, not to directly make money from it (those who do make money from it will usually buy it). If you want to sell software to companies, make sure first that the people who might be using it one day (artists, technicians, whatever…) know how to use it. There are two factors to get there: tutorials (they are the ones really getting hurt, but also the ones who benefit from pirated software) and available software. I understand that it sucks to see people using it for free, but this is why Adobe is still in business: Photoshop has always been easily accessible, and is a powerful tool, so people learn image editing on it. If some guy in a suit on the Adobe board of directors/IT labs had a bright idea to make PS uncrackable, the very same day, people who weren’t going to pay for it anyway will start looking into free alternatives, and a couple years later, even paying users would be like “Adobe Photowhat…?”. Look at it this way: you are losing some customers, but maximizing your exposure and multiplying your future potential clients by 50x (just a random number that popped in my head). Just think: there’s a fair number of tutorials and FumeFX is easy to find. If the company I’ll be working for in two weeks needs a smoke simulation software, what do you thing they will buy? FumeFX (they will have people already trained so it will take a couple hours to implement) or PhoenixFD (nobody uses it, and it will cost money and man-weeks to get people to learn it)?
I do think, however, that companies using pirated software to make money from it should actively prosecuted and sued. Cheers. If you want to make sure people pay to use it, sell an unrestricted-in-time (learning and mastering takes time), non-commercial (we don’t want to use it to sell anything but ourselves), small-watermark version (so we don’t feel compelled to crack it) of it for a seemingly ridiculous sum of money (single digit, like 9?/year) and you might be surprised at the results. I don’t enjoy pirating software, and it’s a pain in the ass to try to crack it, look for a recent version, find a non expired link, etc… I can assure you many people (thousands) will be paying this small sum just to learn it (heck, I already pay more for the file host premium membership, so I’m actually willing to pay a little bit for pro software!).

  6. Hi, the links are broken, can you please upload it again or give us a torrent?
    Thanks!

  7. works, but for some reason AVG says it’s a Trojan! anyone know why?? someone happens the same??

  8. links die really fast! Please, could anyone reload them? Besides, the torrent link above is for 3d max, not maya.
I?ve been looking for this for a while and after been offered tons of toolbars and antivirus and avoiding to change my default internet browser i?m close to give up!
Even in torrent sites i do the search and it founds nothing.
