MPEG Import The new AMA MPEG2 Importer increases productivity with MPEG media and as a consequence the significant reduction of operation time. It allows direct access of MPEG2 files from the Avid Media Composer as well as the import of MPEG2 files direct into the AVID Bin without rewrapping or transcoding the video.
New Feature for Mac and Win: the option to disable the audio import for a significant reduced import time.
Import MPEG2 files into MC. Supported formats: VOB (standard DVD), MOD (Canon, Panasonic, etc), MPEG2 (e.g. Pathfire).
