Wow…never expected to see that here…I bought mine a few weeks ago though…
Sharing is very nice, but I couldn’t install it. Packages don’t work. Is there a video about it?
Content Manager does not open, what should I do?
Hey!! It’s quite difficult but I finally got it working.
1st. you have to download all the files, the “ReallusionCharacterCreator” parts as well as the “RCC4_Content_Pack” parts.
2nd. open up the character creator parts and follow the instructions there to install. Make sure you follow the instructions but they are not too hard. (seems u already done this).
3rd. open up the CC4_Content_Pack files. Move the “Reallusion Templates” directory to wherever you want. When we’re done you can’t move this folder or delete it. Also, it has to be called “Reallusion Templates”, do not change this name. But move it to wherever u want.
4th. Inside content pack there’s also a file called iC8_CC4_MetaData_Final.rar, unpack that as well to wherever you want. This one you can delete when we’re done.
5th. Inside the MetaData folder you will find a file called “iC8_CC4_MetaData_Full_Links.exe”. Run that and don’t change the install directory when asked. Also run “iC8_CC4_SG_Final.reg”.
6th. Okay… the hardest part. Inside the MetaData folder there is also a folder called “Changing Links Target”. Inside there’s a file called “lnk_change.ps1”, right click on it and choose “Open with->Notepad”. Now you have to change the second line to point to where you put the “Reallusion Templates”. It should be the path to the directory without any backslashes at the end. And also without the “Reallusion Templates”. So for example I moved it to “C:\Reallusion Templates”, then I have to put:
$newPrefix = “C:”
Notice the “C:” and not “C:\”. And if for example you put it in your downloads folder then you have to put this:
$newPrefix = “C:\Users\YOURNAMEHERE\Downloads”
Okay now that’s done. Don’t worry about anything else in that file, the first line looks weird but it’s actually correct.
7th. Okay now we save that file, and then click on (and run) “lnk_change.bat”. It will take a while. If any of this goes wrong you can always run “Deleting_MetaData.bat” to reset and go back to step 5.

seems the programme, iclone ,character creator only checks the licence , calling home check on launch,
so block everything launch then unblock
**smart gallery is blocked unless online, reallusion say its the new way
im tempted to think its partly a anti piracy measure
but alas its not fool proof !!!
it takes about 30 secs to a min for the online call home validation check to run
so you can open the app , and block before you get the
you can drag and drop from external folders into the stage window
so you can access any folder with legacy content offline
Ive been trying to make Iclone 7 and recently 8 not say fbx trial for over 6 months. I went offline, installed, replace w/ crack, blocked in firewall, launch and… still trial. I have no clue if its just me or if the serial number was compromised etc.
is there a why to make the cc4 work without downloading the content pack
Can someone tell me if this version has the accurig? Just installed it and I can’t find it.
where can we get the headshot plugin?
