  1. Don’t waste your time downloading this.
Their annoying promotional video should be enough to convince you not to follow this tutorial. It looks like a video made by Michael Scott from The Office.
I’ve looked at the videos in some detail and it’s concerning. Their video on optimization could be summed up as “turn nanite on”. You’d expect them to explain how to create assets like the samurai and the Japanese castle, but everything is provided. No wonder they say you can do anything in UE5 when they dismiss the fact that this samurai and this castle were probably made on Zbrush, Blender and Subtance Painter.
Unless you’re a complete beginner, you’ll save your time by looking at Epic’s official documentation or browsing Unreal sample projects.

    • I think your expectations of this are totally wrong and you thought you were getting a course focused on games. From what I know of these guys, their techniques are mostly suited for film and virtual production. Optimization isn’t that important there because it doesn’t need to run real time. Also I don’t think anyone was expecting a full character pipeline in addition to building the cinematic. This course is fantastic if you’re using unreal for motion graphics, cinematics or film. But for games, in general you should look elsewhere.
