Multiple exercises using different modeling techniques for the same objects provide a comprehensive overview of available methods.
In this course, we will use the following modeling techniques: basic spline construction, spline outlining and extrusion, symmetry and Edit Poly, creating holes and beveling geometry, using the Shell modifier for thickness, and polygonal extrusions.
Attached to the lessons are 3ds Max 2016 exercise files configured for the mental ray render engine (compatible up to 3ds Max 2017), as well as 3ds Max 2016 and 2017 exercise files configured for the V-Ray render engine (compatible with later versions of 3ds Max).
