LUMEN is a plugin for Cinema 4D which provides a fast and efficient
global illumination and special effects solution. LUMEN creates an
array of lights using a source object’s points or polygons. LUMEN
source objects can be any polygon object, spline, primitive, or
primitive spline, and several light parameters can be controlled
with information derived from bitmaps or procedural textures.

Installation
The contents of the distributed archive (3dattack_lumen_1.1.zip) should
be directly unzipped to your Cinema 4D plugins folder.
Make sure to preserve folder information while unzipping.
Your folder setup should look like this:

If 3DAUtiliity already exists, overwrite it only with a newer version.
Note: LUMEN Lite must be removed prior to installation.

Forest Pack is a plugin for Autodesk 3ds Max, and Autodesk 3ds Max Design, designed to give a complete solution for creation of vast surfaces of trees and plants. Forest enables you to combine billboards, high poly meshes and proxies, and using Mental Ray and VRay native shaders, create scenes with virtually unlimited number of objects and polygons.
1) Forest Pack is optimized for speed. It can create more than 500,000 trees per second at viewport, modify any parameter and rebuild them in real-time.
Render is accelerated using native shaders for Mental Ray and VRay. A typical scene may include 100.000 trees of 1 million of polys each one, and render just in a few minutes.
2) Forest can create automatically clusters of plants, grouping vegetation of same type in a similar way that plants are found in the nature. Futhermore, you can use your own custom map to define what type of element must be planted in each area, using colors as reference.
3) To minimize resource utilization, tree distribution can be restricted to the camera’s field of view. This enables the user to create a fly by of a forest of virtually millions of trees, without wasting scene resources on trees that are out outside the edge of the frame.
4) Trees are created from an editable geometry list, combining textured planar objects, custom meshes or proxies in a same forest object.
Billboards have special support, including optimized material shaders and Fake Shadows.
5) Forest Pack Pro includes more than 100 maps of trees and shrubs especially created for use with the plugin.
Forest includes a Library Browser, to select and assign the plants with a single click. The library may be modified by the user, to include new types of geometries, materials and icons.
* Custom Edit mode enables you not only to create automatic distributions, but also add, place or edit trees manually using the Creation Tools.
* Automatic distribution of trees over any surface (irregular terrains, etc.). You can limit the elements in a surface by ranges of altitude and slope.
* Random transformation of position, rotation, scale and… color!. Add more variation to your scene without incrementing the number of materials.
* Animation support, including multiple random samples.

WRapit For 3DsMax 2011, 2010, 2009
Wrapit is a 3ds max tool for conforming meshes to other meshes. This lends itself to various scenarios such as retopologising high-res meshes like those created in Zbrush, Mudbox, 3d Scan data etc, and creating low poly proxies for situations where those are preferable, eg. collision detection, LODs etc.
Wrapit’s strength lies in allowing you to use the full set of 3ds max’s editable polygon tools, including the already great Graphite tools, whilst working on the surface of a target object. In that respect it?s it?s ease of use is second to none; you can use all your familiar 3ds max working methods, whilst Wrapit keeps things snapped to the surface of your high poly object. Wrapit uses 3 different projection modes to conform the meshes; The super fast ‘Closest Point’,’Vertex Normal’ and ‘Screen Space’, each catering for specific projection needs.
But of course Wrapit does bring some additional tools to the table for 3ds max:
QuadGen automatically creates quad based meshes from existing high poly objects, and can even project uv coordinates and materials from those meshes onto your new geometry.
Strip Painting allows freehand or controlled placement of polygon strips to flesh out topology.
Branch Painting is used to quickly retopologise areas of your target mesh which are essentially cylindrical, things like arms, legs, fingers, horns, tusks, trunks, tentacles etc.
Extend Edge is used to automatically extend open edges over the surface of your high poly target object.
Relax Over Surface works just like normal relax, but slides your mesh over the surface of the High Poly target mesh. Here we see a cylinder projected onto an arm; the initial projection is uneven due to the contrasting mesh volumes, but relaxing helps even things out.
Planar Loops Flattens out edge loops in either X,Y,Z or local axis, whilst sticking the the surface of the high poly object:
