I have a problem, when i try to use multiscatter give me that error message:
“License key is not found or corrupted
Please use Multiscatterregistrationxx.exe to apply the key…..”

Yep Same here. Only things in archive are the DLLs for each version of max and an exe file. Installer complains about not being able to install some files.
They aren’t in the rar.

Yes, the SOLUTION is copy the file MultiScatter.dlo of your version of 3dsmax(2009, 2011 or 2012 32 or 64bit) and paste into the folder “plugins” in 3dsmax.

Hi, thanks for upload, I have installed but my v-ray is not working with this mutltiscater, as I am using vray 1.50 SP4, anybody can help me to solve the problem,
I am using 3ds Max 2011, Vray 1.5sp4, when i render its giving me error that vray is not supported by the current version of multiscater.

my issue is that i’m installing 2012 just now with vray and multiscatter and when opening a file that has already multiscatters from previous versions applied with max only no probs, after instaling vray no problems also but when I install multiscatter for just doing pan I have to wait 5 minutes… hell I’ll have to wait even if it’s only for selecting something… help please

when i am installing the plugin, in the first window of the installation said “warning, please exit 3d studio max before continue” but i’m not running 3d studio. when i finish the installation the windows said “setup can not copy some files. please check path. be sure that 3ds max is not running” i check the path and its ok. what is going on?

@archos and leo : Works fine here (max 2012 and mental ray + tried with vray 2.10 as well). Did you copy the .dlo file ? (see first posts)
Only did very basic test though (create a multiscatter object that scatters some boxes and render it)
