i just done a frsh install of max 2009 and now i cant get vray to work. i install vray, do the .dll and .dlr swop then when i load up max, i get shit loads of dll errors and Vray fails to work. I have unistalled everyting, deleted all folders, done a fresh install of max,then evern before i swop the dll and dlr i still get loads of dll errors relating to the files. however when i go the 3d max root folder, the files it is giving me errors about are not there, the dont exist, yet even with a fresh istall max still cocks up. Any ideaS?

After download right click the install of vray and select “Run as administrator”. This way you will not get the ending error pop.

I try to install vray 1.5 sp2 x86 on my laptop. I follow the instruction on the crack but when I open the 3ds Max 9 suddenly error vray2009.dll. And I try another and another…I still get the same error. I have Extension Productivity Booster on my 3ds max 9. Right now i have vray 1.5rc5 on my 3ds max 9 but when I render it take to long..Can anyone please help about this. And please give me the right link for vray 1.5 sp2 x86

Im using vista 32-bit operating system and max 2009. Ive tried every download i can find including every working link on this website, but i still get the same result everytime with vray sp2 cracked trial and cracked 1.5 avanced. I install it and everything seems kosher, but I keep on getting the damn watermark’s on the render. I haven’t found a download x86 file with ‘vrayAASettingsFIX.ms’ incorporated either, its only in the x64 installations (maybe this is the problem – I’m not sure).
Any help would be much appreciated.

As for the full cracked verson, or some wierd Reason, when I replace the dll and dlr, Max 2009 gives a Vray plugin load error message. and as for Demo, the Chinese crack doesnt work either, there are watermarks all over the place….

Boy, look at all you guys. It seems like there has been a ton of issues with the installs for most ppl.
The thing is that the Demo version crack fixes some features; while the advanced version crack fixes others. So, in a way, to get all the VRay features working, u have to install both versions.
Try this:
1. Install the Demo version and crack it.
The watermark should disappear. But it can not save some AA settings; and there is no Dist. Render. Motion blur may or may not work as well.
2. Backup ur Vrayplugins folder.
3. Install the full version “vray_adv_150SP2_max2009_x86.exe”; and now copy (and overwrite) the plugins folder from the demo+crack install.
NOTE:make sure ur demo was cracked earlier.
With full version, the Physical camera and VrayDirt may not work, so the files are needed from the Demo release.
4. Copy the following script

NOTE: the script is very important for DR to work.
Well, will all the above, the VRay demo+Adv+Crack+Script comes really close to the retail version. Haven’t been able to compare the “patched” version with the retail version for a speed/performance comparison yet.

Just a heads up if you ever use a renderfarm…This version will not work on virtually ALL renderfarms…there is a newer version and because of this, the Adaptive DMC settings get screwed up and therefore the render is totally over exposed…Learnt the hard way….
I have found a newer version and I know this because when you re-open a scene that used this torrent, it gives a warning about Adaptive DMC etc. I do have the crack for the newer version but it leaves a watermark. Crack only seems to crack vray2009.dll and doesn’t crack the vrender2009.dlr….Anyone help with this?
