Hi, I have a problem with installation of RPC plugin. I have 3ds max 2010, 32 bit, installed. When I start the RPC plug-in installation, pushing the button INSTALL PLUG-IN, it appears window with sign – The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with this package. The error code is 2738. – Dont You know, where could be problem pls? Thanks

This plugin should be available free from the official website. What one has to pay for is the RPC content library sets, so those would be very much welcome, especially in torrent form.

Hello everyone.
The reason it does not work at first is because
the mental ray shaders is installed in a separate folder
named Mental Ray. In the subfolder Shaders_autoload you have 2 folders named Include and Shaders.
At the default installation directory only change the last 2 digits so it reads 2011 instead of 2010.
Now try this:
Move the file rpcavmr.mi (Folder Include)
to C:\Program Files\Autodesk\3ds Max 2011\mentalimages\shaders_autoload\mentalray\include
Move the following files (Folder Shaders)
rpcapi.dll
rpcavmr.dll
rpccls.dll
rpcfilterhost.dll
rpcjpeg.dll
to C:\Program Files\Autodesk\3ds Max 2011\mentalimages\shaders_autoload\mentalray\shaders
Be sure to read the manual very carefully how to setup the directory where the content-browser wants to store the rpc content.
Hope this will work for you, it did for me.

Please let me know how to crack rpc content? I mean how to remove watermark from rpc contect? I have a rpc plugin (cracked) and it’s working with cracked content but I have a extra lot of content which are not cracked and I want to use these. Do you have any solution to crack there content?
I think, you must replace these following files:
-rpc.dlo
-rpcapi.dll
-RpcShadows.dlo
