New version of Hypershot 1.9.21 32bit
100% working on XP and Vista systems and probably on x64 as some users run it recently without any problem.

Now important:
All of you watching never ending “license not found panel” during Hypershot starts on Vista here is an idea:
click on Activate and write any data (eg. email need to be an existing email, phone are just random numbers, etc) and on serial number field write this one:
1337-1337-1337-1337-VV4M
than click Activate button and voila:)

    this is how I installed :
    step 1 : install but do not start first
    step 2 : copy from crack folder and patch it in the bin folder
    step 3 : copy lic to the bin folder
    serial number

  3. I am on win xp 32 bit.I did all the steps but after I click activate , it says initialization and freezes…. any ideas?

  4. sorry there is no crack folder, instead download this patch:

    and then copy the patch and place it in the bin folder and run the patch
    after that copy the lic file and paste it in the bin folder

  6. Are we supposed to block the program with a firewall when it’s contacting the license server?

    I blocked it from contacting any external addresses and it won’t allow me to activate..

    • I didn’t blocked anything, infact I have to leave my internet wifi on in order it to works. I installed the 32 bit, didn’t try to 64 bit yet. Let me know if the 64 bit works, the 32 bit works perfectly. Finally :) I have been waiting for this one to work in a long time, Thanks again to Pablo

        But won’t it “call home” and report itself as a pirated copy?

        Or does the patch already take care of that?

        • I tried to activated the first time by turning off my internet, it didn’t work. The 2nd time I activate with the internet on, it works. I patch it before I activate obviously. So I guess the patch take care of that.

          • Ok, I’ve tried unblocking it on my firewall and it worked, thanks!

            I was still a little paranoid about leaving it unblocked, so i re-blocked it again after it got activated, and it still works fine.

            Hope it stays that way after I restart my computer!

            The program took only a moment to initialize after I pressed Activate.. I’d say it took about 5-10 seconds at most.

  16. Please can someone help me out… I used to work with Windows XP and had never problems with licences. Now with Vista when I push the patch button, it says:

    “Can not access the file. Maybe it’s in use…
    Please close the file before patching!
    Try to access the file again now?”

    The program is closed and I see no solution here… Can someone please help me out? Thanks!

  21. Got the same problem as Jelle and Cobolean – on Windows 7 I get the message; ?Can not access the file. Maybe it?s in use?
    Please close the file before patching!
    Try to access the file again now??
    I’m using the exact same version as I used for XP – thought that it might had something to do with privileges, but can’t find a solution.
    Pleeeaaaaaase you tech-nerds; HELP! : )

    • the reason why you cant patch in windows 7 or vista is because of the UAC.

      right click and run as administrator, then it will work….

  22. Help !

    I’ve tried all of the above and still getting the License Activation screen with the options of Buy Now, Try Now or Activate. What am I doing wrong ? ? ?

    • I had the same prob as u, but i could manage it. i had just used the cracked license-file from the prvious version (1.9150) which can be found in this forum (meanwhile maybe the link is down). Only this LIC-File works for me.

    I tried it on my windows 7 system, patching works, i copied the .lic file and than i tried to activate it with the serial. and than: this message appeared:

    This computer has received a demo licence for Hypershot v1.9 previously. To obtain a new hypershot.lic license please save a license request file ans email this file to license@bunkspeed.com.

    What does it mean? Any idea?

      You copied the .lic into the hypershot folder before u started the app, so hypershot found this as an “previously demo”… i got this message too. it seems to me that the .lic doesn’t work correctly on many machines. as i posted above, the .lic from the previous version works fine… because i love this forum i was currently uploading the file. can be found here: http://rapidshare.com/files/307250192/hypershot.lic.html

    • make shure that the patch.exe is placed inside to hypershot directory. another reason for getting that message, is when you already run the patch in the past, so nothing must be pached.

  32. Ok, I have a really weird issue with this program.
    Here it goes.

    Firstly the tech stuff… I own a laptop and a desktop computer, both running on Vista x64.

    I installed the program on my laptop, but I didn’t realise that I had to right-click and run the patch as an administrator so it didn’t get patched properly the first time.
    After that i kept getting the licence activation screen and no matter how many different version and patches i downloaded they wouldn’t work.

    Even a portable version that i ‘ve tried, which as you may know doesnt require installations or activations, still was giving me the middle finger.

    That made me suspect that whatever value was added into the registry, was in there for good and was affecting every version of the program, portable or not.

    I immediately copied the portable version from my laptop to my desktop computer, and it worked with no probs! Up until now i haven’t tried to use the proper installed and patched version on my desktop, cause i am afraid it will spoil everything.

    So, after i realised that this program CAN run on Vista x64 with no prob what so ever, I decided to take the big step and format my laptop. I even tried to avoid the fresh format option, by rolling back my laptop’s state to a saved image state, using Acronis Trueimage, hoping that the registry dissorder would get fixed, but no luck..

    I finally formated it and finally the program was working, both the installed & patched version and the portable.

    I went on to install every other application that i use on my computers, and even altering the initial Vista settings in regedit and msconifg to increase performance, checking if Hypershot was still working after every single new installation of a program or a change in registry values.

    Hypershot was still working after i had finished setting up all of my programs and preferences. I even tried restarting and shuting the laptop down a few times just to make sure Hypershot was still working correctly, and it did.

    Feeling relieved that I had successfully cracked this baby, i switched off my laptop and unplugged from its socket (i also dont have its battery mounted on it when i am in the house, i only mount it when travelling).

    The next time i plugged the laptop in the wall socket and started it up, the program gave me the activation screen once again leaving me with a mouth wide open.

    Since I wanted to avoid formating again, (and to be honest, why waste a whole day formatting and setting everything up again if it doesn’t help in the end at all?) I took the 2nd best option which was rolling back to the fresh image state I had created the day I formated and after I was sure everything was working properly and hope for the best.

    To my surprise after rolling back to that image, hypershot was working again, even after restarting or shutting down the laptop, but always being plugged into the socket. When I unplugged it, it stopped working once again. So I rolled back once more to make it work again, and it sure did work.

    But today, after unplugging it last night and rolling back this morning, it wouldn’t work no matter what…

    I dont understand this behaviour, what happens when I unplug it that causes this change?
    Is it something in the bios?
    Is it a temporary state that every computer stores somewhere, that as long as the user doesn’t unplug it remains un-altered?

    I hope all of this info means something to someone and helps solving this mystery.

    And you give us the 1.9.21 ! Great !
    But the crack is not working on x64 OS. (seven x64)

    PLEASE SOMEONE RELEASE A WORKING CRACK FOR Hypershot 64bits !!!

    I can?t get HyperShot to work… I’ve tried all the above, and when I click Activate it gives me a file to send via email to activate the program…

    when I restart HyperShot, the same activation screen appears.

    Someone pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaase help me!!!!!!!!!!!

  38. Am I the only one here who can’t get it to work. I’m forever getting the no valid license found message, and the three buttons to buy, try or activate.
    I did something wrong at the start though, I forgot to patch before starting the program. From thence, I’ve uninstalled, cleansed my registry (somewhat) and reinstalled, but still can’t get it to work…

    I’m writing to this who has problems on activation. Yesterday, I’ve done everything to not getting window for activation (buy-trial-activate) But there was no answer.. I install/uninstall many times and did every single steps (patching- copying lic – writing activation code) but it always showed that menu even though patching was done correctly. When I tried to write licence code and other parameters then clicked.. it always showed “Could not connected to licence server”.

    (BTW My system Windows 7 – 32Bit.)

    At the end of the day, I reinstall my system with the win 7 dvd. When it finished, my first thing to do is installing hypershot again, with these links sources;

    and here is my baby.. It works without asking “buy-trial-activate”. No need to write licence code and activate just patching and copying lic was enough.. Then I close all windows update settings .’cos I thing its about win updates..

      • Yeah I meant disable, all win updates.
        I guess Totoro’s problem was the same. It was not about plug in or unplug the cable its about the windows updates.

  41. 32 bit works fine in Windows 7 x64. You may need to set the full access permission for hypershot.exe before applying the patch.

    1 step : i have installed that hypershot program successfully,
    2 step : i have copied that patch.exe to the bin folder in installation directory
    3 step : i run that patch.exe and got news as successfully patched.
    4 step : i have copied that license file to that bin folder
    5 step : i have right clicked the hypershot program > run as administrator
    6 step : it shows me a screen as : buy, activate ,trial
    i have selected as trial and a new screen pops and i have filled up all the details in that box
    7 step : but when i click that activate button …i could get an error report saying that license file is not found, mail to adress:…………………………. to obtain a license ..
    what could i do for this ?????

    • That’s what I’ve explained, if this program crucial for you, you need to reinstall Win 7 32 bit. And install Hypershot for the first thing when windows installation finished. It worked for me.. And I thought it may be about smt on Windows update ‘cos I had similar problem on Max 2008 in win vista.. When I disable it, I clould manage to install Max 2008 aswell..

  50. Windows 7. 64x, still having Hypershot License Activation problem.
    I know that formatting and reinstalling the os helps, but I could use the cracked version of license to give it a try before I make a big move (like the one Stepp have posted a while ago).
