Instructions:
For the crack, place cgauth.dll and vray2012.dll in both your max directory AND cgauth.dll in C:\Program Files\Chaos Group\V-Ray\RT for 3ds Max 2012 for x64\bin!

I am using vray version 2 for 3d max 2012,when I am done with the rendering on the resolution of 1200×1600 i does not let me create TIFF file,but in deed i have done the same for the resolution of 600×800?Could you help me out in this?
facing the same problem… i changed the date, that time it work but after restart the system, vray start the same problem…. i tried to uninstall but it is saying \ vray.exe -application are running\ when all are closed.. dont know what to do next for this….any one have any idea !!! after reinstall will it work properly or not?
If the problem is back after you restarted your computer, make sure you disabled the date and time automatic update in windows. Reinstall was is my case not necessary.
I installed vray2.20.02, now it is working properly but there is showing this msg (countinusly on the screen)

I am thankful to you for vray 2.20.03 for 3ds max 2012.
I am a beginner user hence I am facing bit problems with rendering.
first of all when I try to render an AVI file after rendering first image there is an error for Image I/O error with a dialogue internal error.
when i retry it gives the same and after cancelling it says error writing to file.
2nd i tried to make images of the using stereo helper which render two images side by side.. I save them in a jpeg format but the save file is a single image while if I save it by my self then it gives me the same sideby side image.
3rd I want to render an animation in HD 1920×1080 and one frame takes 90 sec to render how can I minimize the time.
please if any one can help.
Its not the problem of vray. Installing codec pack will solve it

My PC Confi. Intel Core I5. 4gb ram 1GB graphic card, and I I have installed win 7 ultimate,64bit, and I installed 3d max 2011 64 bit,
and v ray 2 also install and crack files also put in proper location as per Given Notepad.
(Vray 2 for 3dsMax 2011 32Bit & 64Bit
Run vray_adv_20001_max2011_xXX by esanti.exe
Put vray2011.dll to 3ds Max 2011 root directory
Put vrender2011.dlr to …3ds Max 2011plugins\n
replace cgauth.dll in 3ds Max 2011 root directory &
C:Program FilesChaos GroupV-RayRT for 3ds Max 2011 for x64/x32)
But after open max,when open render setup and choose vray renderer,
and in vray tool not show and in vray authorization show error…
Could Not obtain a license(-197)…
same problem :/ I dont know how fix …
Just change the time in your operating system. Ej.

My problem is I installed vray 2.20.03 and the dlls described installed when I run 3dsmax and render setup views no license is set to C: \ Program Files \ Common Files \ Chaos Group \ vrlclient.xml what I did wrong
Have you found a way to make the license work? I have the same problem you had couple months ago.
