  19. this is great and everything but we need tutorial specifically for automotive rendering in VRAy lighting scene setup materials.

      • You dumb ass if you can’t set up a simple 3 light solution to your automotive scene do not bother installing vray , use scanline instead lol,

    Wonderful news…BUT :
    Trying to use he 2012 x64 …Just after the installation process, everything is fine… but when replacing “vray2012.dll” and “cgauth.dll” in the necessary folder, 3dsmax says it “vray2012.dll” is not a win32 valid application !! and 3dsmax doesn’t load the vray plug in ( no more vray renderer in the render tab!) ..anyone has a clue ??

    • copy RIGTH place the files in te **** folder, un DLL on max folder and two TIMES the other DLL in MAX and then CHAOES GROUP folder

  34. Hi, as I said in my previous post, I’m copying the .dll in the right folders (2 dlls in max, overwriting, AND one in chaos group/etc…) But still, vray won’t work in 2012 x64 … anyone has tested and has a working version of max2012 64 and this vray ?

    • could it be that youre checkin the Install wibu key? Long time ago i had a problem too, the thing was that i changed the destination folders, previous installing instructions were more detailed, i suggest to leave everything and uncheck the install wibu key. then copy the cracked files.

      By the way im ussing in 3d max 2012 x64

        but i had WIBU key driver unchecked ( as “usual” i would say … like when i would install previous versions )…
