Install problems follow this
If the problem is with missing libmmd.dll from the Portable folder and|or users’ computers in general.
The simple first solution is to right-click your CINEMA 4D EXE file and Run As Administrator, or set that up in its Properties.
If that doesn’t work, then you would need the C++ Redistributables, which I believe came inside the R16 Redist folder. This Portable R17 does not have a Redist folder.
For those without the C++ Redistributables, download them straight from Intel with the link below – the Update 4 ZIP of Intel? C++ Composer XE 2013 SP1 for Windows, and run the 64bit version [w_ccompxe_redist_intel64_2013_sp1.4.237.MSI].
Run the MSI, then set your EXE to Run As Administrator, and finally run the CINEMA 4D EXE – I can confirm this works.
