  2. Hi there. First, thanks for this amazing release. I just try to run the activator and fail. The activator window opens and music is runnung, However, it is not possible to click the “activate” button, neither to close the window with the upper right corner “x” symbol. Any hints? (Windows 8.1) Best…

    • Hi…man…First you must copy the activator to the same folder where is the VectorWorks2018.exe…and there rightclick whit admin permitions run the patch…

  11. Having the same issue with the activator. Runs with funky music but impossible to click “ACTIVATE”. Any ideas?

  12. Installation tutorial (This worked for me):

    1. After downloading, unzip and run vectorworks 2018 installer.exe to install. Enter the registration code: vweval-23-003f-31c2-e530 and follow the prompts to complete the installation.

    2. After the installation is complete, do not run the software. Copy the patch “vw2018sp3-activator.exe” in the “Crack” folder to the software installation directory, and click activate.

  14. @Awner: Is it an new activator in the upload? I did the same steps, but it is NOT possible to click “activate” when the activator runs. Also it is not possible to click the activator away…

    • I think it’s the same activator. Maybe it’s the os that causes the problem. I tested it on several computers and it worked on all.

  15. vectorworks has been working hard against piracy…

    you can’t open existing working file done with a pirated copy of previous version, which means the working files are only good for current copy. if you try to open it, it will direct you to a webpage saying it’s made by an illxxxal copy and close the file.

  16. Hello: I installed VectorWorks 2018 and it works but for more than I modify the option View> Layer Options> Show / others … or also Show / snap / others I can not see a layer from another … a very serious error not being able to use the transparencies between layers …

    • Lo prob? y no he tenido problema con las capas transparentes. Lo estoy probando desde una computadora sin gpu dedicado.
