The last 2024.3 post had some dissuasive comments so I’m still using 2024.2.
Do I have to install the 2024.3 exe before the 2024.4 ?
c4d works fine, no RS tho. You don’t have to install 2024.3

renderview doesn’t work
BUT I’ve noticed it crashes more often on heavier scenes than the older versions.
if you are using insydium, octane or redshift, you should get them from the guy who made this crack, if you are using these 3 plugins and you got them from another source, it will crash.
if you don’t use these 3 plugins, just rename “Redshift” folder in c4d directory to a different name and it will work perfectly

Official versions of Octane, Redshift or Insydium do not work. You will crash out at random points if you have them installed or try to render out using the render queue. The readme directs you to a website to pay them $100+ to install one of these by granting someone remote access to your machine.

No viruses detected, but still crashing often on heavy scenes. I don’t know if it’s my fault or just an unstable crack.

I didnt want to download the file until knowing if I was going to be able to find a Redshift version to work with it but I will put it in queue.
It will not work perfectly. This crack has disabled all rendering from the picture viewer. Which makes it a no go. Also the app shuts down/ crashes every 10 mins.
I think they released a fix on April 13 , use google to find it.
I`m small hobbyist, can donate maximum 10-20 dollars for unlocked version.

Crashing for me, every 10 minutes. Work is lost. Using official redshift. Hope someone make different crack.

The worst release ever. Only stable 2024.2.0

It is working perfectly fine if you read the instructions, the cracker made it clear you should only use his ( Redshift, Octane, Insydium ) or simply rename “Redshift” folder in Cinema4D to disable Redshift, most people don’t understand that crashing is not a bug, it is intentional by the guy who made this crack.
This is bad approach. Better release unlocked crack and advertise additional services. Peoples will like this and trust him more and even might buy additional tools from him.
I got in touch with the hacker and clearly told him that this method was not viable; nobody would trust the purchase of these cracks. He wouldn’t listen to reason; he’s only interested in making a profit.

Yes I agree. However, when he decided release crack it must be 100% working without restrictions or not release it at all. Or make it private for a price. I think this topic will be deleted, because the software not working as it should be. Not surprised they banned him. Better approach is make fully working crack and advertise additional tools with a splash screen replaced original c4d splash screen at launch.
Not only is this crack half working, the cracker is requesting money AND remote access to your machine to install working versions of the renderer’s. You’d have to be insane to give anyone that access to your machine, let alone all the other issues that pop up with Maxon while having even legit licenses assigned to your machines.
I agree with your take at the end tho; A working crack allowing people to use their legit licenses while advertising what he has to offer that goes for those who want to take the risk/save funds.
Actually they gave me instructions and I installed it without anyone accessing my PC, you are spreading false information, they simply give you the option to do it yourself or they do it for you if you are not an advanced user.
I was simply stating what was said on the website, which is what most people will defer to as fact rather than a random anon on a board. Doesn’t make it any less sketch to hand over funds to an unknown cracker to use various rendering engines.
from an unbiased angle, it is a master move by the guy who cracked this version of C4D, you can hate him or love him, this won’t change the fact that cracking new versions of Cinema4D has become a technical challenge and truly needs skilled crackers, and the fact that he prevents the user from running any other cracks for Redshift, Octane or Insydium will help Maxon and those companies reduce piracy and also eliminate his competition in the piracy market ! Because if you want to use this Cinema4D and those 3 popular plugins, you will have to deal with him exclusively, just my opinion.

Why would anyone in the right mind download/use this version if you cannot use a 3rd party renderer (official)?! This cracker should offer the other cracked renders as and upsale over this and I’m sure many would be happy to buy it including myself. I’m not interested in using a buddy program. I’d rather shift to Blender than this.

I think they included their website where you can buy the missing plugins, maybe it was removed with repacking and distribution.
Corona wont work with it either
Corona works fine, but if you have any of the 3 plugins ( XP, OC , RS ) C4D will close.

Just make sure you don’t have octane , Insydium, redshift from other sources, and simply rename “Redshift” folder in Cinema4d directory to “_Redshift” to disable redshift that comes with C4D.
