4. When unzipping the part1.rar, I am being asked to insert the disk containing the likewise named file. How does this work? Any advise? Thanks!

6. I figured it out myself: Since this is a spanned zip, all 5 files need to be downloaded, then unzip the first, which will unzipped the others automatically.

7. I bumped into another issue, I did the following after everything was unzipped

   1. I installed Rhino (“Rhino/Rhino4_Setup.msi”)
   2. I generated a key, and copied the last 16 characters into the Rhino install window
   3. Rhino continues installing
   4. I installed the upgrade (rh40sr_en_20090709.exe)
   5. I copied the crack (crack_Rhinoceros_v4.0_sr6) into the system folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Rhinoceros 4.0\System)

   Up to there everything seems fine.

   When I launch Rhino from the programs list, it starts, but notifies me that it didn?t find a valid license.

   Where did I go wrong?

   • a :s I did not install this one… look if the licence it at the right place, try to run rhino as admin.
     But the keygen is not for generating a file too?

   • It is probably because of path. We, as x64 users, install it to “C:\Program Files (x86)”, where advicers point at “C:\Program Files”.

     • Yup can confirm it now, it installed and run flawless on “D:\App\Rhino”

       So if you’re Windows7 x64 user, change the default installation path.

       • damn — i’m using win7 x64 too now (genuine of course–don’t frown at me like that!). i’ve completely forgotten this bit i read weeks ago…

         Should be noted! don’t install it in default path i.e. C:\Program Files (x86)\

         Install it somewhere else!!!

8. Running as administrator resulted in the same issue.
   For the license, what to search for? is it a .lic file? And what’s the right place for it? The same system file where I copied the crack to?

   For your last question (But the keygen is not for generating a file too?), I don’t really understand what you are referring to…

    1- run the patch as ADMIN
    2-run rhino as ADMIN TOO :p

    maybe I will keep the application because of vray, but I need a comfirmation is it really a good application, what can you do with it? and finally it is more for design no?

12. I tried that too, using the exact same key. Rhino then just disappears. (like it closes down without notifying) When I launch Rhino again, I get the same window again, saying that the license isn’t valid…

14. i had the same problem as mando, no matter what I ran it as…

    finally just deleted it.

15. No Problem

    Install in this order:

    1.-Set the Rhino “Rhino/Rhino4_Setup.msi”
    2.-Using a key generator “keygen_Rhinoceros_v4.0_sr2.exe”
    ——–Do not run Rhino Program———–
    3.-Set the update “rh40sr_en_20090709.exe”
    4.-Copy the file “crack_Rhinoceros_v4.0_sr6.exe” to “Program Files \ Rhinoceros 4.0 \ System”
    5.-Launch(run) “crack_Rhinoceros_v4.0_sr6.exe” in “Program Files \ Rhinoceros 4.0 \ System”
    it must be with the patch file “Rhino4.exe” must be OK ,
    6.- ——–Do not RUN Rhino.exe ———–Do not Restart Machine…..
    7.-Install Vray “Vray/VRayForRhino_01-1.05.29.exe”
    8.- copy all file, “Vray / crack_Vray” to “Program Files \ Rhinoceros 4.0 \ Plug-ins \ VRayForRhino”
    9.- NOW you can run it
    I install it on Aug 24,2009

16. The patch work fine under windows XP x64… but when I tried it on windows 7 x64 RC the patch failed (“CRC32 check failed! nothing patched!”) and when I launch Rhino the “License not found”…
    any suggestion? Thanks!

    • right click patch, run as administrator.. ESPECIALLY in Windows 7..

      Probably that is problem..

17. Hey there,

    I am running Vista 64 Ultimate and SP6 patch does not work. Not only it does not work but Norton constantly sees it as a troy. I turned Norton off but patch fails. Is there a manual crck for SP6? Any help will be deeply appreciated! Thanks :)

    • windows 7 x64 RC (Release Candidate) was downloadable from microsoft site but not anymore… Rhino and VRay can be installed but the patch not work as I wrote previously… I think have to wait rhino 5 for windows 7… but I hope not… or another patch or crack…

21. i have a problem with the crack when i install show me a message can not acces the file maybe rhino is in use but i dont run rhino yet i restart the instalation many times but nothing if someone can help me please

    i also had the problem of not being able to install rhino with windows 7 and i might say that i fixed it up by executing the crack (after copying in the system carpet) as administator. you just have to right click in the mouse and it appears in the pannel. then the patch works the same way DADDY says.

    You have to start the crack whit administrator rights :)

25. Hey when I extract the files the read me says to copy crack_Rhinoceros_v4.0_sr6.exe to Program Files-Rhino-System…….but i CANT FIND THE FILE crack_Rhinoceros_v4.0_sr6.EXE!!!!………where is it…….all i see is crack for vray…i tried a search for it….nothing….can someone help me

    • I mean files are infected with Win32.Virut.g. Google it is your friend to look and “learn” – no removal tool so far. A clean and easy to follow install here:

27. If you see “…valid license is missing”
    1. run Rhino as administrator
    2. run ?keygen_Rhinoceros_v4.0_sr2.exe? as administrator, generate key and copy in to the program window.
    3. enjoy!

28. I have read all the cooments and nothing is working for me I have windows xp and bitdefender as antivirus. I turn off bitdefender then I can extract the files but for some reason the patch does not work I try to run it but it wont work.
    any body knows what wrong?

29. I’ve searched high and low for the solution, but to no avail.

    The patch I downloaded is always plagued by trojan no matter where I downloaded it from. And I can’t even run it, both as normal user and Admin.

37. hi,
    I’m having trouble lauching Rhino 4 under Windows 7 professional edition. Manage to install it, copy the crack files (Rhino4.exe, and Rhino key) to Rhino’s system folder (tells me I need administrator rights to do that, and I click continue). So far everythg seems fine. But when I try to launch Rhino, it doesn’t work (no error showing up, just shows “cracked by…” but never starts Rhino itself). Is it from Windows 7? (Windows Defender or some pirate prevention?); software worked fine under Windows XP…
